Welcome to the Taste of China Chinese buffet restaurant! Thank you for visiting our site! If you are looking for authentic Chinese flavours, a buffet offering a wide variety of eighteen items, or just a casual dining atmosphere, then this is the place for you! We at the Taste of China take pride in our efforts to serve you well. All but two items are homemade using family recipes that have been passed down for at least three generations. If you are looking for take-out, we have many combinations to choose from, or you can choose buffet-to-go. Just stop in and take what you want from the buffet. Come and give us a try if you haven't yet; we look forward to serving you!

This was our first time ordering and we will be back. The chicken balls were not over battered, there was a good quantity of beef in the beef and broccoli, the pineapple shrimp was full sized shrimp. Both the egg rolls and spring rolls were delicious. We had it delivered and the young man was polite and friendly. Can't wait for round two in an hour.
I haven't had food here in over two years because of the pandemic and just ordered today. Amazing food just like I remembered and ALWAYS friendly staff I ordered Combo 3 and I couldn't eat it all! You could feed 2 ppl with it!!! Love your restaurant. Thank you!!!
BEWARE Beyond Disappointed. I ordered for an 8:30 delivery HOURS prior. They did show up on time but the customer service on the phone was horrible. I ordered 2 wonton soups, combo 3 sweet and sour chicken balls & sweet and sour shrimps with chicken fried rice and spring roll And coconut chicken. First of all, they forgot the sweet and sour sauce for my husband combo & the rice was hard? The breaded shrimp & chicken balls were not bad but would have been nice to have the sweet and sour sauce for them… Never in my life have I received undercooked fried rice lol The coconut chicken was drowning in a sugary like coconut flavoured syrup that looked very questionable and the “chicken” was hard as a rock & basically all breading. The wonton soups were beyond salty and tasted like nothing. The meat in the wontons tasted off. I used to love their wonton soup and the crunchy pieces they used to put in them. Not anymore…. $47 including delivery. Tried to call and nobody would pick up. Customer service is terrible. Very disappointed. Not like it was 6 years ago when I was a REGULAR. This was my favourite place to eat in Woodstock when I was in college. I Was excited to order from here as I’m in town for the weekend. Very disappointed. 1 star would be a compliment.. Wish I could send it all back and get a refund. Too bad they won’t pick up the phone. I’ll be calling in the morning. Will update after phone call.
Fast and friendly service...great portion sizes...and quick food preparation. The chicken balls are perfect - not over-breaded.
Such a shame, their customer service is horrible.. Just read the responses the owner has put on negative reviews and you will see the type of people they are. We ordered food and they delivered the wrong order. We had opened all the containers and our guests started serving the food on plates before I realized the error. I called them and explained the mistake, they asked what they could do and I asked that we just get our order. Guests put the food back in the containers and we waited an additional 30 min for our order to arrive... Told the driver we opened everything and at that point assumed because of covid they could not take it back. We ate our dinner, and then I noticed 3 hours later taste of China had called my phone numerous times... When I returned their call assuming it would be to applogize and make sure we Received the correct order I was sadly mistaken.. The lady on the phone told me she wanted the food back.. And she needed to have it because people say the got the wrong order on purpose to get extra food... WHAT? ?? No apologies, just Accusations and very aggressive .. I put the food in a bag on my front porch with a note about how disappointed I was with how they handled the situation. I'm still in shock. We didn't make the error, we spent over 100 on food we didn't Initially receive. Unfortunately for them, they lost a repeat customer with me and my entire Woodstock family that was here for dinner... Shame u you
I didn't Anticipate to see a gentleman from my mom's hometown in China, Rongcheng, Shandong province. Mr QIN and his family and staff were so friendly and attention to detail. He, as the new owner of the is cozy and nice restaurant will bring more happiness to people here and from other cities! The food? Yummy, healthy, Nice and good price! I will definitely come back again! Cheers!
Not sure why people are giving bad reviews. Everytime I order it's been amazing service and amazing food. Love their combos! Perfect amount. This is the only place we order from. Thank you!
We got delivery. It took over an hour and the food was terrible. Chicken and chop suey had a slimy film on it. All of it tastes like it was cook in a dirty pan. So gross. Then they wouldnt come send someone to refund and return the food. I had to find my own way there. Terrible service. And this is not a lie **edited
Hands down my favorite place for Chinese. I've been ordering from here for about 4 years. Good portions, made exactly how I request it
The food was okay but we have had better there. Fried rice is the best but the beef vegetables was all pieces of fat, maybe 1 meat to 3 fats. Terrible. The sesame chicken was mostly batter no chicken. Do not think we'll go back.
