Small mom and pop shop. Heads up that there usually is a 10 minute wait but it is worth it. I have gotten the Tibetan Momo and Tamang Momo. Everything always comes out piping hot. 4.5/5 would recommend. Honestly you get so much for $8
Momo is delicious. Gyuma and Mogthuk is special at there. Well served and nice welcome. Thank You Lobsang la from NY.
The most affordable home cooked dumplings and food you will find. Everything they sell is good and the hot sauce is spicy and the bomb. Definitely try out.
Delicious momo ever i had. want Juicy momo and Fresh. You should go and try
This is a typical Nepali type restaurant. If you want to have Nepali taste then you should visit this at least once. One of the best Nepali restaurant in Toronto. The food is not expensive and you can enjoy enjoy food to your tummy full in less than $50. I enjoyed being there. Nepali taste
The food here, specially the momos, is so damn good and for a great deal! It’s a small joint next to TD Bank in Queen St W and I would suggest paying with cash. The service is delightful and they always are happy to see you come back. Momos, my love, with the wholesome curry or achar is mind blowing here. I usually call them ahead of arrival so that I don’t have to wait and they always happily oblige. The servers there are very friendly and they’ll tell you if you can handle some of the spices or not. They have a good selection of food and it’s always freshly served! Go in with your friends or with your family, you’ll no doubt like the food.
The first time I tried tibetan cuisine and I love it .The owner and the little owner are so cute and friendly, he make a funny joke when we eating make us feel like home. The food are so flavourful, and the price can make u surprise . I really highly recommend to go to this restaurant specially in this winter, let the soup make your day
Small menu but big value. Really good flavours and the prices already include tax. Beef chow mein spicy was great and the momos were very juicy, although fair warning, they have green onions in them. The portion sizes are fantastic too. While they have room to sit, the place is pretty small so you're best doing takeout
Parkdale charm. Two can eat for under $20 and everything is always fresh and hot. My favorites are thenthuk, tamang momo, nepali chow mein, and alu. Hot sauce is 100%.
A Tibetan restaurant in Toronto was just unfortunately shut down for a total of six infractions by health inspectors. Tashi Delek is a little takeout counter on Jameson known for their momos, but health inspectors cracked down recently and shut them down for numerous infractions. A closed notice was issued for the restaurant on July 21. Three of the infractions were crucial, two were significant and one was minor. tashi delek toronto Screenshot of DineSafe infractions for Tashi Delek. The crucial infractions were for storing potentially hazardous foods at internal temperature between 4 C and 60 C, failing to protect food from contamination or adulteration, and maintaining the food premise in a manner permitting the health hazard of rodents gross. For the first two crucial infractions, the action was a notice to comply, but for the rodents, the action was a summons and health hazard order. The two significant infractions were for failing to ensure equipment surface was cleaned as necessary, and for failing to protect against the harbouring of pests. The minor infraction was for not maintaining the food handling room in sanitary condition. The action for the significant and minor infractions was a notice to comply. The restaurant will be able to reopen once they have resolved the issues and are reinspected.
