Wow! There's a reason why they are the top rated mexican food in Greenbay. Clean interior. Warm greeting. I was here during the lunch hour on a Monday. Not crowded and seated immediately. Chips and salsa were homemade and given as I was seated. I was surprised with a small bowl of what I would consider a mexican style chili/soup that was free not on the menu. Delicious. Ordered 1beef/asada tostada and 2 pork/pastor tacos mexican style. Also asked for rice and beans. Mexican bottle of Coke. Authentic and awesome. Can't say enough about this little slice of Mexico here in Greenbay! Definitely coming back. Worth the trip even if it's out of the way!! Great service and very reasonable price.
Road Trip to Milwaukee...Stopped for lunch. Mexican for lunch! I mean, the real deal. Everybody in the place is Hispanic but us. Yay! Mexican music videos on the TV. Soup with hot dogs and fat back served when we sat down. Delicious authentic Mexican food and experience. I felt like I was back in Laredo!!
I know what y'all think, why is a Californian reviewing a Greenbay Taqueria, because I'm here for my Packers and the half Mexican in me said let's get Mexican. Started off good waitress/bartender had a nice smile leading to service being great. Ordered chilaquiles with steak, came out looking good good, I recommend chopping red onions instead of slicing because it was a little hard picking it all up with sliced onions, so definitely chopped, add some chopped parsley or cilantro, just brings the dish more alive. Incredible food, I had tongue tacos for the first time. My wife had something she'd never tried before and she loved it as well. Definitely an authentic place to try. Went on a Saturday night when they were doing karaoke. If you do not like karaoke I would suggest going during the day or afternoon. Great place, great food. If you don't like karaoke, Go During The Day.
Their pork Mexican style tacos have a sweet spicy taste to them. Super yummy and super soft pork. Tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered take out. The host is also super nice and sweet. Very welcoming place.Food: 5/5
A hidden gem in Green Bay. We went there for lunch on a whim and had some delicious and authentic Mexican food. We liked it so much, the next time we were going to a restaurant, we went right back to Taqueria Michoacan. The burritos were outstanding!
Did not really enjoy. I got a fried chicken torta and the chicken we old and I'm hoping I'm not going to go sick. Also the crema was "flavored" with something but it tasted like finger nail polish to me. I also ordered a watermelon margarita and it was flavorless.
The food is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in Green bay with Maldonados a close second. The steak burrito was amazing!
Great food & they open late. Their service is fast & their portion size are big. Prices are reasonable. One thing that I will dock points on cause it's happened a few times they always forgetting stuff from sauces to tacos soft shells. So I would recommend always checking before leaving. Though that doesn't take away from the taste & quality of the food and authenticity. Great group of ppl I don't know if they are family owned but I def recommend! If you are in town & craving some Mexican food. I always forget to take pics but will add later!
