The service I received was good. I had a non surgical facelift as my first service after buying a coupon. My face is sensitive so I got quite red but also received a few scratches. Nothing crazy. However, my appointment started late as the appointment before mine was running behind. Not a huge deal - individuals fall behind and things happen. However, I went in for my second service today and after arriving early I was told the person working with me would be there right on time / a few minutes late. Ten minutes after our appointment time as I waited I received a call letting me know she would be later - I asked for a time and could not be given one. Things happen but I wish I had been made aware of her running late before making the trip there as it was a bit out of the way from where I started and I essentially spent 1.5-2hrs of my day to go there and go back home. Service provider/owner Tania was nice and easy to contact but with the running late and not having my appointment double checked before hand I do not know if I will rebook to try to receive the service I missed again. The shop is clean, it smells nice, and Tania is kind, but I just don’t have the time to spend running behind or waiting. Also in general please be aware that there is a dog in the area that I was not told about before. Not a problem, just a preference to now about animals as a first time client.
I purchased coupons to use at this spa that have a 6 month expiration date. I booked two separate appointments and both times the owner called to cancel my appointment just an hour prior to my appointment. Do not book here.
When my mom and I first entered the door and her dog came running up to us which was very startling and my mom was not okay with it. When we asked if they could take they’re dog away they proceeded to tell us that’s it’s okay she’s nice. We came on time and she told us that it we needed to wait a while and didn’t get to see her until 25 minutes after. When we were getting our treatment done she was talking on the phone in another language not that speaking in another language is a problem but I will explain why her speaking in another language is relevant later on. As we were getting our treatment done she started telling her how we needed to tip her. I would gladly tip a person doing my service but if the service was not good I will not be willing to tip high. During our second visit when we came, once again her dog came running towards to door when we opened it. Which again is not okay nor is there a dog sign on the premise also it’s spa why is there a dog around it’s unhygienic. When we asked her if she could have a dog sign so that people are aware and if anyone with allergies know she said that’s “it’s okay this is Canada and it’s okay people like dogs here” and proceeded to tell us that she didn’t need a dog sign. Anyways after that when we were waiting me and my mom speak in our native language since that is our first language and my mom does not speak fluent English. She later asked us that we stopped talking in our language and speak English. I’m sorry what ? This is Canada we can speak whatever language we want and that is the language I use to communicate with my mom. However the last visit it was okay when she was speaking to whoever on the phone WHILE doing out treatment in another language. After the second treatment whatever she had applied on my face had caused a serious allergic reaction which ended up me being in the hospital. I have no interest in getting a service done with someone who is unprofessional and is blatantly racist. We have two my treatments left on our card and have no interest in coming back. 10/10 do not recommend this place do not come here!!
I had the best spa experience ever at this place. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. My skin was glowing afterwards and I still feel the benefits from my treatment that is long lasting.
I bought a voucher at the Taboo show I personally was very pleased with not only the services but the people. I’ve gotten many massages and some places have grumpy employees not Tania’s everyone was super pleasant and just the cheery atmosphere made it enjoyable. As well I got a facial I’ve never had one before and I feel like I got what I paid for and more. My skin feels AMAZING & looks even better. Thank you everyone :
I've had two treatments. The chemical peel and the microdermabrasion with the voucher. I have never had either treatment before and I'm very happy with the results. They are very kind and knowledgeable. My skin is so soft. I would recommend getting the masks after as they help calm the face. I've had amazing customer service. They even stayed late to accommodate us. I have even purchased a gift certificate to give as a present for Christmas.
I love this place! They provide wonderful services. My absolute favourite spa in the city. Clean, professional and very relaxing atmosphere Got a massage from Tania, she was wonderful - was honestly probably one of the best massages i’ve ever gotten. Will be back!
Got a Promo and didn't know what to expect. Was nervous as it was my first facial. But they made me feel at ease The guy at the front desk was really helpful and the service provider was super friendly. Had a Hindu head massage with my facial and have never been so relaxed. Looking forward to the rest of the treatments in my spa package and would 100% recommend this place.
