Tangy Tomato Pizzeria

Was in town for a conference and heard this place made awesome Chicago style deep dish pizza. We tried 2 of the 12", one Buffalo chicken and one veggie. Both were made to order + were completely awesome, and with leftovers to take back. Garlic knots were huge, crispy and delicious. It's not a fancy place by any stretch but it was clean and the staff were friendly and professional. It's definitely worth stopping in.

Wanted some wings and decided to try here on a Friday evening. Ordered online via Slice and it was simple, set a pick up time for an hour out. When I arrived I could tell they were busy, even still I was greeted promptly, kindly and my order was finished on time. Making customers feel welcomed is really a big deal for me so I knew I’d return off that. I enjoyed the wings, they were crispy like I asked, but I wanted more flavor/sauce I ordered hot wings. Like I said, I’ll be going back to try more of what they have to offer.

Was on the hunt for some authentic New York style pizza and finally found the place. They sell pizza by the slice and have several toppings to choose from. I ordered the cheese and the garlic. They were both flavorful and delicious. The crust had a nice crunch to it. The cheese and sauce were balanced and not overpowering. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also ordered some garlic knots, which were really good and addicting. They have lunch specials from 11 am - 4 pm. Great spot to check out if you’re looking for a fresh New York style pizza.

My pie came to $41.25, very good taste it was suppose to be a garlic deep dish pie with an inch of crust that should have been filled with toppings, we also ordered a $17.00 cheese steak Smaller than jreck subs, again good flavor Bread Delicious! Fries taste Home Made’: Great Taste But the serving size is Not Worth the Money!!

I was hoping for better.. service was great. Pizza came with cheese all on one side; driver must’ve fast and furious-ed it over to me.. disappointed unfortunately. Looks horrible; had to re-cheese everything.. good news is it tastes great. Wings nice and crispy; pizza has great flavor and taste. Eat in and shouldn’t have any problems!!

I had the new york style pizza, and it was crispy. The toppings were good and fresh. The more I ate the more I liked it. I will come back for a deep dish next time.

50cent wing Tuesday’s. $27 total for 50 wings! We got salt n pepper, hot, bbq and Sammy sauce! Perfect as always!

This was my first time ordering from Tangy Tomato. I ordered Buffalo Chicken pizza, slice, and Chicken bacon ranch, slice, for lunch. I was very impressed. First by the size of the slices, massive. Second the consistency of the toppings on the pizza. Both slices were very well topped and covered the slice. Aside for the optics, the pizza had a great taste with plenty of zesty Buffalo sauce and bacon ranch on the other. What I found was a big plus was the flavor of the crust. A lot of time the crust lacks flavor and requires dipping sauce, this crust was very tasty on its own. I will definitely be coming back to try the Deep dish pizza.

Brought up in an italian family has always allowed me to appreciate good pizza. I truly miss living in NY, and now that I'm in Colorado, it's hard to find good NY style pies. This was my first time at Tangy Tomato, and based off the pics alone, I wanted to share this experience with my Italian grandmother and son, who were beyond impressed! My dad, he truly would have loved to try this place out if he were here. I already know what he'd say, 'forget about it!' Great job guys..... the store looks great, awesome customer service, super friendly attentive staff and amazing pizza, see ya next time I'm in town!
