The best coffee and nicest staff. Hands down my favourite place to get coffee in the city I’ve tried many!. They’re always so helpful and friendly and take the time to explain their different beans and brewing methods. Their chocolate chip cookies are also delicious. I’ve been hoarding their Hatch coffee ‘supernova’ beans since I’ve been away in Portugal because I love their coffee so much!
What a lovely spot. Great coffee the folks tell you what’s what with the coffee they are serving. Treats are yummy. The folks are waaaayyyy friendly. Vibes are good. I happened upon it by happy accident. Strongly recommend.
Black Sesame Latte and anything from the pastry bells. This is my favorite coffee shop in North America. The two owner/baristas are an incredible team, preparing every beverage with detailed care no matter how large the crowd is.
Cozy little spot with a very dainty vibe in Corkstown. The staff is very friendly and make you comfortable. I tried the sesame latte which was really good. The inside is very crafty and nice. Will be back to try more
The general vibe feels very Nippon inspired, as do the beverages, which I must say are delicious. On top of tasty drinks are equally tasty pastries! My fiance and I both had the sesame lattes mine with a shot of espresso and the sea salt sesame chocolate cookie. All in all, a cute shop, great vibe and scrumptious treats.
One of the best coffee shops in town? One of the best coffee shops in town! Selection of quality roast from different regions around the globe and great pastries - in a cozy store with nice service and a welcoming touch of omotenashi. See you there!
Beautiful and dainty little coffee shop located on the east end of downtown Toronto! I was so happy to discover this place with my SO because they offer unique drinks like the sesame latte you cam choose between black or white. They also offer baked goods, I tried the matcha sesame cookie and it was delicious, the taste is very subtle but you can taste the sweetness. The shop owners appear to be a husband/wife business are also very friendly! The shop also offers cute vintage items like toys that are dated few decades ago, cameras and vinyl discs. Check this place out if you’re on the east end!
I've walked by this place a hundred times on my way home and finally stopped by today. This lovely little coffee shop has such polite and patient baristas and delicious coffee! I got the the cappuccino with oat milk and browsed the pop up vintage wares they had for sale in the store while my drink was being prepared. The interiors remind me of the vintage Vietnamese cafes I visited in Saigon. Would definitely stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood.
The best cafe in downtown east and one of the best in Toronto for sure. The coffee is always top tier, made with lots of care. The baked goods are unique and delicious. The owners are the friendliest people ever and it's a joy to greet them when you enter. The atmosphere is super cool, with local art, a record collection, and old film cameras all on display. Long live Tandem Coffee!
Cute place. No wifi. There is an assortment of coffee and merchandise available. Washrooms are clean and accessible. The barista potentially owner was very helpful and loves a good chat. There is definitely a local vibe and following when I went between 2 to 4 pm. Several people got t-shirts that day. Lighting in the seating area can be improved if you are on the 'other' side.
