They stayed open late for me to get there to buy a couple of tanks of propane. I really appreciate it.

Friendly service and all the camping essentials! We enjoyed a delicious scoop of Reid's Dairy ice cream.

Overpriced. The guides say its cheap and you can find good souvenirs there but personally I saw better souvenirs on the street shops also a lot more cheaper.

it has a small town family shop feel to it. Ice cream was great.

Not your father's Tambo that's for sure. The store and the take-out are run by different families. And while they are trying to make a living, the cost of take out, in my humble opinion, was way too much. So maybe just have a small cone and be satisfied. The look and the feel of the place is the same as when we stopped by after the Outlet in the 70s. So the nostalgia is still there. And to be fair, the gentleman running the store is always friendly and has a story to tell. Drop in, buy locally!
