It gives a detailed look at the suffering and struggles of the indigenous Americans for the last 200 years. It's a large building with lots to look at and the gift shop has something for everyone.
I enjoy learning about the different cultures of the Indians. But I don't like hearing that they have lost so much land and are slowing regaining areas.
An extremely powerful and well-curated museum. One of the best exhibitions I've ever encountered, the information and exhibits provide a multi-sensory experience to teach you about the history of the local Native American tribes and their interactions with settlers in a unique and deeply moving way.
Very moving experience. I came away wanting to learn more about Native American culture. My kids really enjoyed it.
Wonderful museum that was engaging and interesting. Highly recommend!
Really amazing exhibits and a lot of intention has been done to create an ambiance. It’s so important that museums like this one run by the native tribes exist to tell their history. Very impressed and can’t wait to recommend it to friends and family.
Wonderful exhibits that beautifully display the Tamastslict tribal history and culture.
Had an AMAZING visit today. Appreciated learning the culture and the history. GREAT displays. Can't wait to visit again!
Very nice museum and cool renewable energy projects on site. It's refreshing to see this kind of tribal exhibit actually created and run by that tribe. I think a typical, non-indian-run exhibit wouldn't include the "current" portion of the exhibit, which is an important part of their story.
