Nice museum of Pendleton and Umatilla County! Took us an hour to got through pretty slowly….nice little gift shop at the end. Recommend when passing through!!
Great museum to spend an hour or an afternoon learning about local heritage. Wonderful indoor exhibits and the outdoor exhibits are interactive! Loved the pioneer cabin and schoolhouse, as well as the WWII items in the pilot house. Well worth the admission and time spent.
Fun family friendly museum and community space. The exhibits are interesting and relevant. The museum also houses many historical artifacts. Check out the great yard space as well. Fun lights for the holidays, and available for events as well. There is also a conference room you can book for your community event. Check it out!
Love the lights that they do every year for the kiddos with Santa and the Grinch.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
This was a nice museum with local pioneer history. You can go into an old log house that is furnished as it might have been. Recorded audio tells about the family that built and lived in the home. The museum also has a caboose to walk through and a pioneer barn to peek inside. In the museum building are numerous displays of Pioneer life. The admission price could not be better: $4 for seniors and $5 for adults.
It is definitely a must-visit if you are going to Pendleton. Saturdays are free and they accept donations.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Neat place to explore. Wish we would have had more time to read all the history. Our admission was free, because we came on the first Saturday of the month.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
This museum is very well done and full of information about the area. On the grounds are the Hix cabin, outhouse and windmill. In addition, there is a Union Pacific caboose to visit.
