We used Taits for a celebration , they supplied sandwiches and cheese and crackers. It was absolutely wonderful, definitely will use them again. Great price and delicious food! Highly recommend them for your next occasion. Thank you for the excellent service!
First things first, the servers were wonderful. Such sweet kind ladies. However, the prices were too high for the quality or quantity of the food. Ordered the grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwich, the apple fritter so good, a peanut butter cookie and 2 coffees. Came out to $30. Sounds like a lot but the portions are surprisingly small-I compare them to sandwiches I took to middleschool. Im happy to try local spots and I definitely appreciate the cozy atmosphere, but it's really pricey.
Soup and sandwhich lunch was delicious and fresh! Nice choice of breads. Dessert options abound, although I found the brownies a bit on the dry side; taste was great! And the peanut chocolate rice crispy thing was delicious!!!
Every now and then I forget how disappointing this bakery is and make the mistake of going in to grab a quick treat. Have you ever made those Betty crocker cookies from the package? The just add water ones? Well, you've probably made the same cookies they sell for $1.50/each at Taits. Food looks great, costs a lot, and and consistently disappointing. Do yourself a favour and go to superstore for your baked goods.
Fresh food, homemade pie, cookies cakes, pastries bread. Fresh subs made the way you want and reasonable price. One of Brockville favourite stops for residents and visitors.
Yummy apple fritters reserved 2days before and ready to go Saturday morning Get there early to avoid Saturday rush hour and a little wait if you can - obviously popular! or maybe a little short staffed these days unfortunately
Just stop reading reviews and go. This place has amazing food. The staff are so friendly. We just moved here and have hit this place up several times already in the last week. I don't even have a photo to add because I just destroyed them. My cat even got in there and stolen a piece of bacon and ran off.
Most of what we bought was good but I was a little disappointed. Cookies were good but I've had a lot better. Turnover was too small. Chocolate dipped donut was good and so was the brownie. I also noticed that they used styrofoam containers for food takeout, an abomination to the environment. It's 2022, seriously. If I had received one of those, this would be a two-star review.
Wonderful bakery. The Baked goods are awesome, and service is great.
