Whistler weekend trip. My wife loves Mexican food, so that’s our first stop. Tacos were amazing, they all have their unique flavours, we really loved them. The burrito was also good, it’s on the bigger side, it was filling. Service was great too, friendly and hard working staff with layback vibe, perfect for a place like whistler village. We think this is better than our go to Mexican restaurant in New Westminster. Yeah, it’s that good. Try it if you are in the area.
This was such a delight to find! The fish track was delicious. My husband and our friend couldn't stop talking about the beef taco either. Our order came very fast and very hot and fresh. An affordable place to eat or at Whistler with excellent service and taste!Food: 5/5
Good quick place to grab a bite before you head up the mountains or come back from the mountains. The portions are decent, a bit more expensive for what you get, but that’s Whistler for you. This place can get really busy, so it’s best to visit in the off times or you’ll be in line or in a very crowded spot. Overall decent food, a bit on the salty side, but decent portions. Good to come back for quick bites and simple eats.
Fast, fresh, great portion! Was really nice that they had 3 different veggie options. We ordered burritos. Highly recommend a side of their hot sauces for a little kick! Margaritas are good too :
La Cantina have great food. The fish tacos is a new addition to their menu since last year and an absolute must to try. All tacos are made on corn tortillas and almost all if not all tacos are gluten free. There are a few vegan options to choose from as well. Don't forget to add the deliciously spicy habanero sauce. :
I can’t speak on authenticity, but I can say the Quesadillas are packed with much more meat than you’d expect one to be, and alongside the tacos is very flavourful! This is my go-to spot after a day on the mountain.
I can't recommend it, unfortunately. After the vegan burrito I got a chicken burrito. Both tasted just awful, it was unfortunately so bad that I almost had to vomit. The only thing that was good was the beer and sprite. I have never eaten such bad Mexican food. Vegetarian options: Nicht zu empfehlen Parking: Genug parkmöglicheiten
Super delicious and authentic tasting burritos and tacos! The beans and rice were so good and had so much flavor. The patio area was really nice as well.
Best tacos I've ever had! We had Michelle as our server, she was on top of everything, friendly and fast service. It was packed inside but they pulled a table in from outside for us to sit at out of the cold. The food was ready within a few minutes of ordering it and, can't stress this enough, was amazing. We tried one of every taco they had on the menu and then went back for seconds. A must visit if your in Whistler, we will be going back again for sure. Tons of gluten free and vegetarian options to suit everyone too I'm celiac, wife is vegetarian, we can be hard to accommodate sometimes.
Mexican comfort food. Everything here was top notch but also affordable, not a typical restaurant service - you have to line up to make your order regardless if you’re dining in or taking out. Overall great service, and the food was pretty impeccable. I found the food leas flavorful than typical Mexican places I go to still good though! but that seems to be consistent with all the restaurants I’ve been to in Whistler so far - catering to local palates I suppose.
