Amazing taco truck! We went there twice at the beginning of July and both times were great. Tacos the first time for lunch were very flavorful and filling. Second time for supper we got tacos and that teenager Makai made me the most amazing nachos! Service is excellent and memorable! I live 8 hours away, but would go to Tacomory every week if I could.
2022 July 4 Located near Tobermory and really just on the way, you'll find this food truck just off the road. While there's a few different taco options, this one isn't too bad given the area. Didn't really expect any decent Mexican. While the tacos are pretty good, it does lack more sauces. There's like 2 bottles of hot sauces, but really should have the Mexican ones available. 3 tacos, chips and salsa and a drink $18 The shredded chicken, pork and aloha tacos were all good with good portions of meat, but could really use a bit more thicker sauce. Otherwise wasn't bad. Kids nacho $9 Nachos with shredded chicken and cheese. Not bad. Kids enjoyed it. Free limited parking in front. Three outdoor picnic tables. Parking: Free limited parking
We got their 3 Tacos Combo. The Combo came with Chips, Salsa and a Drink on top of the Tacos, and the price was totally awesome! For the Tacos we got Aloha for all 3 Tacos, it had Shredded Chicken, Pineapple Salsa, with Sour Cream, the Chicken was flavourful, Pineapple Salsa had a good sweetness and crunch to it! Overall, a decent spot to check out, but would have been more satisfied if Pork Carnita wasn’t sold out.
Went there and got the Aloha Nacho and Tacomory nacho. Not bad but a little steep for the amount of food. We did agree that it needed more pineapple on the aloha. They were skimpy on the pulled pork as well. The people were awesome though. Talking about my daughters name being phonetically correct. Being they were super busy. They took the time to talk to each customer.
Stayed in Tobermory with my girlfriend for a couple of nights and we tried over 8 restaurants during our time. Both my girlfriend and I agree that Tacomory was the most flavourful and memorable food experience in the area! The gentleman that served us was funny and showed passion for what he did and his job. The food was full of flavor and tasted incredible! Especially for food made in a truck! Bravo to and a full five stars to you Tacomory! Left us a cute message on our take out box too
When in Tobermory, watch for Tacomory! What an excellent lunch we had this summer. The team in the truck were chill, inviting and all around totally friendly! We ate our delicious lunch too fast, missed taking pics, sorry about that! It's definitely a go to spot in the Tub, just go and your family will thank you!
Delicious and fresh! Staff is super friendly and funny. I recommend the Aloha nachos with guacamole. They really piled it high!! A must-try when you’re in Tobermory.
Good quality and flavorsome Mexican food! I dropped by for lunch with my Scottish friends Daividh, Micheil and several others on our trip up in Tobermory, ON and we will definitely be back next year! Keep up the amazing work!
The cutest food truck!!! I saw the name and I had to try it! The tacos were filled with so many toppings and it was so good, my favourite would have to be the pork carnitas because it was the tastiest out of the ones I had, which were shredded chicken, carnitas and aloha tacos. I’d say the price is reasonable for what you get. I wish I wasn’t so far from Tobermory but next time when I go up there again I will definitely be visiting Tacomory!!
Visited the day after Labour Day, so the crowds had died down. I ordered the vegan taco bowl, while my friend ordered 3 different tacos. This was THE BEST taco bowl I've ever had - flavourful, and definitely filling but not in a way that makes you feel sick after eating. I was told the tacos were really good too, and that they each had their own flavour profiles that complemented the others. So, most importantly, the food was awesome, and the staff was friendly and informative about the area.
