Was headed out on the lake and hadn't gotten dinner yet, was starving... Opted for something quick... Went through the drive thru, placed my order and was fortunate it wasn't a busy night. Think there was one other vehicle ahead of me, short wait time and my order was ready and correct. Eight tacos and two orders of potato olés. Was happy to get to the boat ramp and jump in the boat, ate my four tacos plus one of the boyfriends Thanks while out on the lake for a while.
Delicious besn burrito, crispy potato rounds with great hard shell tacos. Great waitress, fast service. What more could u want? Oh, yes: clean restrooms! Vegetarian options: I had a beam burrito Kid-friendliness: Plenty of choices for kids Parking: Close to entrance...free of snow Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible
Don't know how they are able to hire such great people at this Taco John's, but without exception, every time I go there, they are smiling, friendly and efficient. Never have to wait long at all. Food is always hot and delicious and they never make mistakes with orders. Just a bright spot in the fast food choices. Went to Arby's and they were rude, got the order wrong and didn't even say thank you.
I just so love their fried chicken tacos and fish tacos! They're just so good and crispy! Will keep coming back..Food: 5/5
So happy this taco john's is open! Always great food. The ole's aren't over salty like every other tj's.Food: 5/5
Food was good but a little disturbed by how dirty the seating area was there were 2 clean tables in the whole place the floors were dirty and unswept, dining area was just dirty in general only one other person in there when we came employees were just standing around so not like they didn't have time and it was 11:00 so not after rush makes one wonder what the cooking area is like!
Bought super nachos. I opened the lid and noticed round corn tortilla chips like tostitos. Extremely salty, and stale! When the hot meat and beans were added, the chips went limp. I threw them away and called the store twice to complain and the employee Joshand the manager Wandawere very rude denying my claim saying I bought them somewhere else!! Wow! Neither one of them even attempted to make the situation right. Very poor customer service. I won't eat there again! I suggested to the manager she should take a customer service class and she hung up!
What on has happened to Taco John's? Stopped in for a meal and found out that the restaurant was take-out only... on a Friday afternoon??? Staff didn't say why the dining room is closed, just that all orders must be to go. And, apparently some condiments like salsa are now a "charged item", no longer complimentary. A small I mean really small cup of salsa is $0.40, and extra sauce packets are a quarter apiece. The staff were friendly-ish but not really helpful... didn't explain anything and seemed totally indifferent to my questions. Granted, Covid-19 has reeked unbridled havoc on the service industry - so I kinda understand that many employees are fed up - but still... "I don't know" cannot be your mantra for every single question or concern. Thank God the food is still pretty darn good, albeit very expensive for mediocre service and no free condiments. I guess this is the New World Order. Features: This restaurant does not appear to utilize good Covid-19 safety precautions; individual packages of condiments, but poor social distancing and staff do not wear masks. Place didn't look very clean.
6pm lobby closed 6 behind counter eating and standing around but they say they are short staffed
Never get fresh potatoe ole's anymore. I can safely say that the last 5 or 6 times I've eaten here the oles literally taste and feel like they were refried left over from yesterday. Really disappointing how bad the food has gotten here.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
