great food !!!! Taco express is inside the BP. I have been wanting to try this for a while since hearing about it from a lot of people. He menu has just enough stuff to have a variety but not too much to be overwhelming. Whatever you choose is made in front of you and you can pick what you want on it. We stuck with tacos. They load the tacos up and don't skimp. 2 are filling for us.. You can build your food to your liking. They have lots of options. We were lucky to go at a time that wasn't too busy. check us out on youtube mrsmel269
I absolutely love this place. Before coming to Brookings I never liked places likeQdoba or chipotle, but after going here I was absolutely hooked. The food is always fresh and hot, the staff is very friendly, and the food is very well priced. If you want quality fast food at a great price, this is the place for you.
I Have Eaten Here Numerous Times as an OTR Truck Driver. Hands down the best bang for your buck no what you order. Closest to authentic for a fast food style eat in or carryout meal.
Taco Express is the best Mexican food Brookings has! Everything is ALWAYS very fresh and made to order! They do not skimp on ingredients and you definitely get your money’s worth. My favorite is definitely the shredded beef quesadilla!! The beef melts in your mouth! Another favorite go to is Taco in a Bag where u feel like you are eating at a fair! Soo good-definitely worth the stop every time!
Here's the deal folks; if you're within 30-45 miles of Brookings, SD. and have a hankering for authentic tacos/burritos/fresh cut toppings and killer salsa choices don't think twice! They cook up awesome food and super friendly staff! Worth every penny!!!

Exceptional value and deliciousness! My husband got a grilled burrito and I got a Taco-in-a-bag a.k.a. walking taco. Food is made in front of you to your specifications, and there's lots of it for a great price! We will be back!
Brookings best kept secret! Located in a gas station off the highway, you wouldn't know how great it is unless...you know ; Biggest burritos you can possibly get for the price. They are about 3 burritos in one for a GREAT price. Everything else on the menu is just as big and cheap too! Ingredients are fresh and delicious!
Excellent burrito, long line when we walked in, moved quickly to get everyone served quickly. Good size/value, friendly, seems to be a busy place all the time, they do great at quick service. Limited menu choices but lots of options to make each item just what you want. Tasty surprise, glad we stopped.
We had taco express cater our work meeting. We had breakfast burritos. They were amazing. everyone pre ordered and they were made fresh that morning. SO GOOD!
