Taco Del Mar

We visited this business last weekend. Even though it was 11:05 am and the sign states they open at 11:00 am, the doors were locked and open sign was off. We then returned last night for dinner at 8:00 pm, all of the chairs were turned upside down on the tables even though internet states closing time is 9:30 pm. The two girls who were there both gave us dirty looks and acted rather rudely when we walked in and while taking our order. When we were being rung up, she asked if I would like a bag, and I replied that no we were eating there. She said, “we close in 15 minutes” (at this time it was 8:05 pm). I told her the internet says 9:30 pm. She then informed me they changed the hours last week. So we left. As we were walking out, I noticed sign says they close at 8:30 pm, which would have given us 25 min to eat (plenty of time for a burrito). But apparently they don’t want customers there at least a half hour before closing. They have lost my business.

WORST SERVICE!!!! Extremely disappointed, my family and I go to TDM 3+ times a month and I go for lunch at least 2-3 times a month. One of the girls behind the counter was wearing a stocking caps not a work related hat but a going skiing cap. Her attitude was horrible, the size of the wet mondo I got my husband was 1/3 the size it normally is. She dripped enchilada sauce all through the queso. making it to were I could not order what I normally get, I am gluten free and this is my go to place even though they do not guarantee the cross contamination, but the complete disregard that was shown by the employee was ridiculous. When I asked the other girl for a comment card she snapped at me, like it was unbelievable that I wanted to complain. The chances of us return are slim to none.

Showed up during their listed open hours to find the store closed. Great way to run a business...

Service was good...but slow...it was noon hour though....the chicken and food quality were less than I usually expect.

I'm a regular as I work nearby. I only have a half hour. As a regular, they know my "usual". Michael remembers my order and she (Yes Michael is a she) provides fast and friendly service! The ingredients are always fresh. No you cannot compare it to the farm to fork restaurants that McMinnville is famous for. But if you want a good value and fast service, Taco Del Mar is better than the other options IMO.
