Romantic, intimate and cozy. Cocktails are decadent yet innovative. Ask mixologist Patrick to make you something special; he went off the menu for one of my gin drinks by adding tea to it. Delicious. Impeccable customer service to top it all off.

This is a cute small Hideaway with fabulous food and service and drinks. Definitely call ahead for a reservation. Has a nice bar on one side if you just want to go for late night drinks or desserts.

For a small town, McMinnville has some exceptional places to eat and Thistle is one of the standouts. Start at the bar with prohibition era cocktails expertly crafted by Patrick. For dinner, the my favorites are the gnocchi and the meat selections both of which change regularly. Don't expect an Oregon-only wine list. The owner has crafted a surprising selection interesting bottles that never disappoint. If you are sure, let her suggest something (her pairing ability is top notch).
