Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

I made the mistake of going back after a year. I thought maybe the quality would change, but unfortunately it hasn't. This location is the worst swiss chalet I've ever had. Ordered through the drive thru maybe that's the problem? I've never sat in the restaurant and eaten. I got home and took my box and put it on my lap while I got my setting situated, then I feel something wet on my lap. Turns out my lid wasn't put on my chalet sauce properly. When I opened the box my lid was hanging off, sauce all over the bottom of where it sat and made it's way to the bottom of my bun. Alright, I'm annoyed now. Next I look towards where my fries are... Mixed in I find this tiny piece of dark meat, by the looks of it I can tell it's going to be dry. It absolutely was a sad dry piece of chicken. My mountain of fries were room temperature, it was just a huge disappointment all around, sadly. To have 4 stars this place must be good, so how am I getting the worst part of it the few times I've eaten here??
We came to this Swiss Chalet location for my husband's birthday and had Jamie as our server. She was absolutely wonderful, she continued to go above and beyond, our meal was perfect,and we had a great night. We will be back to this location in the future!
I am amazed how great the service was! Our Server Laurie and our hostress Erika was so nice and helpful. We walked in and was greeted right away and had an amazing conversation. I also noticed that the customers that they serve are all happy and know them, because they're return customers. The food was hot and Taste Great ! GREAT WORK 10/10 SERVICE. They just got a customer for life !
My family and I went here on New Year's Day for Dinner for a late Christmas celebration. It was quite busy, however they were fast and efficient. Everything was correct and came out in a timely manner and we all ordered something different and there were 9 of us including appetizers. The service was great, all the food was delicious and were in huge portions. The only reason I gave one less star is because the bathrooms were a little dirty and a couple of our dishes were dirty as well. I still think it deserves four stars because everything else was outstanding, which I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised.
I ordered take-out a rotisserie chicken on a bun, white meat. Got dark meat with a very sharp bone in it. I would like someone to contact me from the cobourg swiss chalet.
