Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

Excellent food. Great service. 
 However if you hold a get together in the special room in winter, dress warm.  Except for the fireplace, we all froze in that room.

Nice family orientated restaurant. I've to many Swiss Chalet's but this one seemed to have taken a long time to get served. Waitress was nice and friendly.

Clean, fast service and courteous staff - a well-run restaurant.  Food was to standard and portions were slightly better than other stores in the chain.

I ordered food online and called after waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes to enquire when my order would be arriving.  I had two very hungry young children waiting for their special dinner. 

I was spoken to in a not very polite manner by one of the managers, Dave, and was told that they were trying to get ahold of me to tell me that one of my food items was not available.  It appears they had an old phone number in their system. Instead of attempting to look up my phone number with Canada 411 (they had my full name and address) they chose to just wait until I got tired of waiting for my food and I called the restaurant myself.  

I was told that my other orders were cold at the point and was given no apology for what had happened or any offer of compensation for the inconvenience. After being called “my dear” and spoken to in a condescending manner by Dave,  I cancelled my order and will not be going back to this location ever again (or Wasaga Beach because it is the same owners).

I had ordered a meal for pick up and got home before realizing the chocolate was missing. So I called the restaurant and the manager personally drove me over the chocolate and an extra thing of chocolates after his shift I thought this was very generous and it made my fiancê quite happy 👌
