Frist time i have ever been here it was good food tease good and was hot and dessert was good to and we were served fast

I decided to try this location because I had so many problems with the other location, well that was a stupid mistake, the service is just as poor if not worse than the South location. We waited at the front for several minutes, the severs just kept walking past us, not once did they even say we will be right with you or anything. Finally after a line formed they took notice. We were seated at the very end of the dining room, it was so cold in the restaurant that you could almost see your breath, we asked for a warmer spot and or turn off the air, we were told they would turn it off, nope that never happened. Prior to ordering we noticed another table that stopped the waitress and over heard her telling them that the kitchen was behind, those customers were angry and left. Another table asked the server for their bill after several minutes of waiting, the customer went and stood by the kitchen door to get the servers attention. Another table was waiting for a take out container for their food, again, the server was in the kitchen and not attending to the table, that customer too, went and stood by the kitchen to get what they needed when the customer spotted them. When our server came to the table we asked if the food was going to be long as we had overheard the problem at the other table, she reassured us that it would not that the Chicken was ready they just were taking it out. We ordered at appetizer and got it, and when the food finally arrived about an hour after being seated, the waitress said, "I didn't like the look of the chicken when it came out, so I told them to put it back in and cook it more, then said, I am pretty sure its cooked now, but let me know if there is a problem with it" Ok... you know what... NO!!! I am not taking the chance on eating raw chicken, so I asked to speak to the manager, when the manager came out, she said that she temperature checked the chicken, but clearly you could tell she was not telling the truth, as she didn't know the proper temperature... We ended up leaving and going to Mr Mikes which was far better than Swiss Chalet. FYI When Swiss Chalet was in the Carling Place Mall years ago, it was amazing and the service was spot on, both of these locations should be ashamed ... VERY ASHAMED !!!! what a F$%King joke they are, do us a favor and close your doors!!!!!!!! your an embarrassment to the city of Regina!

Everything started nice, they took our order table of 5 adults and 4 children. We waited a reasonable amount of time for food but it came out rather randomly like it was ordered at separate times, my son never got his food and I thought they were just a bit late with it and I kept telling him it's coming. A few minutes later it was clear that they forgot his order I gave my son my food. we tried flagging down our waitress and she said " just a minute" (fair enough) several minutes later she still never came. I finally was able to flag her down to complain but by this time it was too late and everyone was done eating so there was no point in ordering the food again. They at least gave me my meal for free and a coupon for a free meal that my son missed, but it didn't make up for the the fact my 5 year old was sad that they forgot about him. I'll use the free coupon and that's it. I'll never return.

Ordered from Swiss chalet thru skip the dishes. Most horrendous experience of my life. Both times I've done this took over 2 hours. As I write this still no order and skip the dishes will refund half my order. Swiss Chalet refuses to do anything. Thanks Swiss Chalet for nothing

To whom it may concern On May 9th, 2017, at noon I was at the Swiss Chalet on Rochdale Blvd Regina Saskatchewan. Today was the fourth time in a row that I stood in the takeout order desk for over 10 minutes waiting to be acknowledged or served. On one previous occasion, I actually left without ordering and the last time, I went into the dining room to find a waitress after 15 minutes of waiting. The set up for the takeout order desk at this location is not customer friendly to say the least. Part of the kitchen area is visible to customer but for whatever reason the workers never sees people waiting at the takeout order counter. The reason for this complaint today is again I waited for over for 10 minutes before leaving without ordering. The female worker that was cutting the chicken today was handling the chicken without any gloves on. The reason why I kept going back was because I actually worked at Swiss Chalet as a teenager and even back then we had to wear clear plastic gloves when handling food. I can not believe that in 2017 someone would handle food in a restaurant with their bare hands. I really hope that she at least washed her hands. I will not be attending to this location again. Thanks for your time.
