Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Vibe: 4/5 Price: 5/5 The food was something you expect from swiss chalet, satisfying and enough but nothing extraordinary. The Chicken soup was really good and the food came so quick. Not a big fan of their fries as it was a little saggy. Our waitress was the best and she was on top of everything. She did a great job and he said it was his first day so shout out to him buddy! Overall the delicious food with a reasonable price! Cheers.
Their chicken was not cooked well and was very tiny for the price! Pink and some blood left inside the chicken. Disgusting! They did offer us a new plate but it still wasn't cooked well, still saw some pink in it. My mom was too upset to eat the whole thing and was too tired to complain. Moreover, their service needs to be better. The way our server was talking to us was not pleasing and we felt rushed telling her our order. Servers need to be trained properly. Overall, experience and food was a flop. I hope other customers read the reviews about other terrible experiences they had and go elsewhere!
For chicken on a bun, literally white meat on a bun and nothing else. With fries, a swiss chalet sauce, a mayo packet, and a large pickle it was 20 DOLLARS! The chicken, bun, fries, sauce was all good but for 20 DOLLARS. Not worth it at all compared to what you can get at other restaurants or even the grocery store for the same cost. If there was a special deal, or coupon it would feel more worth it.
Wow. I haven't been to Swiss Chalet in years and I am so glad we popped in for supper. The service was awesome and the food was incredible. Totally bummed that we no longer have one in Saskatoon. The next time we are back in town, we will be back!!
Had a 1/4 chicken meal, part of my chicken was pink. I take it back up to the counter for them to tell me, “no I assure you its fully cooked”. I have eaten at swiss chalet for many years, I know what cooked chicken looks like and feels like. The pink neat was rubbery! They wanted to give me a replacement, um no thank you! Will DEFINITELY never eat here again!! Bad business!! Do no eat here. Bad management as well. I thought the customer was always right but this management feels the need to argue with the paying customer. Belittling me in front of all the customers.
Both service and food quality are inconsistent at this location. A few of the servers are polite, engaging and professional, but too many are withdrawn and clearly not happy to be there. Food quality has definitely gone down hill in general, and there is a noticeable reduction in the size of the chicken. Serving size is also inconsistent noticeably smaller lately. On a positive note, the food is usually served hot. I can deal with the less than enthusiastic service, however being served dried out chicken should never happen at swiss chalet. On another positive note, the roastbeef is very tender and delicious. Overall, very mixed reviews for this place, as it's a bit of a crapshoot specific to service and food quality.
Chicken was under cooked . Asked for gravy got chicken sauce. Server was slow and not very good. Got my bill and they tried adding there tip into price. I tried but won't be ever going bk. My wife asked for a Caesar salad they were out .
Unfriendly and unwelcoming staff starting from when they were giving us a table. We preferred near the window but the unfriendly receptionist declined without even giving a valid reason as to why we can't be seated to where we prefer.. Next is the server who for some reason is in a hurry to get our order when we aren't ready yet, we expressed our preferrence for sauces but she declined saying the choice we made was "watery". Then came my order of quarter chicken which doesn't look like the size of it- smaller and lo and behold it was not properly cooked bloodred.. in fairness they replaced it BUT i have totally lost my appetite.. WILL not be recommending this place and never coming back again..Let your customers be customers!
Ordered take out. Container of gravy was just over half full. Butter was placed on top of gravy container so it was melted and all over everything. Portions of fries we significantly reduced. Chicken was overcooked and dry. It would be worth the drive to Edmonton for a different locationFood: 1/5
I placed an order early Sunday for a large group meal 33 people. I ordered the day before which is common, we regularly order meals for work. I received an email and was phoned personally with a request to confirm that it was a valid order. The woman I spoke with confirmed my order. At 6:33pm the next day and less than 3 hours til my pick-up time we were told they could not fulfil the order leaving us scrambling as I now had 33 staff members without dinner. I was absolutely shocked that this could even happen with the order being verbally confirmed. Whether it's a central call system or the local venue I felt the staff member wasn't very polite and should have been more apologetic. Our company regularly picks up food here, after not even so much as a courtesy discount on the next order and a very sincere apology I can honestly say we will not support this business in the future. Fortunately I found another restaurant that we also regularly support that was more than happy to accommodate the last minute order -a big ask as they close and have 1.5 hours to cook.
