Went here today to see their menu, the menu selection was wideI could hardly choose but I got myself a combo of curried mutton and BBfry chicken. Loved it. My husband got oxtail and fried chicken and a serving of jerk pork. And a small fried chicken for my daughter. Everything was delicious. We will return for sure.
Great hidden gem in port credit. The food is always flavourful, great portions. It consistently looks and tastes like it's made with care and love!
Friendly staff, and fast service. Good Jamaican food. Try it out if you're in the area! Parking: Parking right in front of the resturant Wheelchair accessibility: No auto door opener. But spacious enough for a wheelchair. Bathrooms are downstairs. So that's a no-go.
Friends of mine from Whiterose Barbershop mentioned there this new great joint down the street and if you ever wana get blessed with amazing food, go to Suzie's. I went and got to meet Suzie and Reg who were super nice. I ordered the large jerk chicken dinner. The chicken was super moist and amazing flavor. 6 out of 5. The rice n peas amazimg with the ox tail gravy. 6 out of 5. Thank you Suzie. Will definitely be back
Tried jark chicken with rice combo with goat currys gravy. Food quality and proportion were good and tasty. The food was fresh and well cooked.Food: 4/5
First time here, definitely not my last !!! Bought the large Oxtail, rice & peas + Pineapple Guava drink…. One of the best oxtails in the city !! Comes out hottt, flavourful & addicting Will be coming here to try out the whole menu. Thanks guys
I called prior to coming to ensure they still had some bed patties available. The man whom answered the phone was very helpful, and even put aside the Pattie’s for me while I drove to pick them up! I arrived a few minutes before the closing time and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely highly recommend if your looking for Pattie’s.
Straight goods That’s it. Oxtail was cooked to perfection, rice and peas nice and moist. The way hard boiled rice is to be cooked. Other places the rice is mush over cooked or sitting too long. They have a very nice rice cooker. Also the oxtail dinner has a nice kick to it. Comes with coleslaw or macaroni both taste well. Tried my husbands jerk chick. Bomb. Very very pleased. Thank you for your kind services and making us some good food. Much appreciated. See you guys later!!!
I was driving down Lakeshore when I noticed the Now Open sign and did a double take when I noticed the Jamaican Jerk restaurant. I ordered the jerk chicken, it was tender and tasty. The spices were a perfect combination of earthy, sweet, and spicy blend of flavours. They had a fantastic selection of side dishes and variety of drinks. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Great addition to Lakewood.
