A very delicious meal with good portion of meat Deserves a second turn. Oh! And the inside of the restaurant is really impressive. They are probably going to be having a live band or something. You will have a great sense of Home when here. The customer experience was great too
The food is not bad but the service is so bad . They have only one staff for everything. She can not handle all . I went there and wait more than 1,5 hours for the meals . Even the waitress forgot us . 3 groups came after us but got served before us . So weird . If you’re spicy food lover maybe their food will suit you because it’s really spicy . The restaurant should hire more staff and improve the service better
Very flavourful Nigerian food at Suya Palace. I got the Large Chicken Sula Plate and it was awesome. Loved the spicy Jollof Rice. Love the chicken too. They give you extra spices to sprinkle on your meal if you want it hotter. Yassss!
Very tasty! Wish the large size suya combo was bigger as I wanted to keep eating more. Overall, very happy with the food. Tastes great! Shop owner I think let me try some egusi soup as well. Very good!
The jollof rice was sooo smoky and flavourful. I loved all the different parts of the meal. The coleslaw was nice and refreshing and balanced out the spicy flavours. I found the beef to be a bit dry but for the price, this is a very solid and tasty meal!
The food was tasty and we were able to satisfy the cravings for Nigerian food we had been having for a while. The Egusi and pounded yam were amazing, and the music tracks playing whilst we were eating them made the experience even more enjoyable. What could be improved was the selection of drinks, there weren't many to choose from, and others were in the menu, but out of stock. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the exquisite artifacts in some corners of the restaurant, that reminded us of the richness of the culture of the old African continent. Regarding entertainment, it wasn't really necessary, but it would have been nice to have something playing in the tv sets whilst having dinner instead of the Roku wallpapers, preferably Nigerian content. This wasn't a must, but it would have created a more "immersive" experience, if we may say so. At last, the place could benefit from a deep cleaning service white chairs, curtains, and baseboard in the restaurant, and restrooms in the basement.
Best Suya in Town! So I’ve tried Suya places out of my home country and nothing compares. This is real Suya. The slices are thin, properly marinated and flavorful. The meal comes with yaaji the original Suya sprinkle powder sauce. It tastes just like what you’ll get in West Africa. Their jollof is actually super tasty too. Ordered from this spot 3x in 4 days. I highly recommend.
So the place was friendly I don't have experience with African food so the owner was nice to let me try before I ordered. We got a mixed platter and the beef was good but the goat was the best. Plates were generous proportion and flavourful. Over all the experience was good. Wish to try more options tho.
Bought the assorted suya and chicken combo. The meat smelt like it was on the verge of going bad and didn't look at all like a grill. More like broiled. Jollof rice tasted amazing, more like the regular party jollof you will get in Nigeria had that smokey smell & taste. The one I can't understand is the Cole slaw. I am not sure if it's part of my meal or free gift, lol
First got the egusi soup with pounded yam. I was disappointed. Why were the spices missing from the soup??? Not good. But the jollof rice ehn? I got the beef suya combo. The jollof rice mad die. The meat . You guys should have seasoned the soup the way you seasoned the jollof. Keep up the good job.Food: 4/5
