Visited on a Friday during lunch hour and it was quite busy. We got mysore masala, egg-kuttu parantha and filter coffee. Dosa and paratha tasted nice, coffee had some weird smell maybe of the metal? not sure but I couldn't drink. Service was little slow as only 1 person was serving all the tables. Reasonable prices, decent portion size. Good experience overall, Food - 4.5/5, Service - 3.5/5.
Ambience is alright, it is a small place. Service was good, food arrived fairly quick. I ordered masala dosa, it was really good. It came with three types of chutneys all yummy and a bowl of sambar which was delicious. Hubby ordered beef curry and rice, was pretty satisfied as well. We will definitely visit again to try more items on their menu.
Wow. When I was in Edmonton, someone suggested this place for South Indian food. And I have to say this is perhaps one of the best South Indian food I have had in Canada. Very pocket friendly, great quantity and quality. The filter coffee and Kesari were amazing as well. We ordered Podi Masal and Paneer Masala Dosa. Atmosphere was ok. Overall it could be more cleaner !!
Great place to go when you are craving dosa or South Indian food. Really good portions and flavors. The staff is nice and attentive. Kids love the size of the dosa! Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good dosa place.

If you love to try south Indian style food, specially dosacrepe, this is a must try place. We ordered a family dosa which is 4 foot long along with 4 varieties of sidesdips. It was so crispy, delicious dish loved by kids as well. We would definitely visit next time!Food: 5/5

Giving this restaurant 2.5 stars. The service was the only bright spot, the decor looked outdated and dingy. We ordered Mysore masala dosa, Onion rava masala dosa, and filter coffee. The dosas along with the sambar and chutneys tasted very bland. Filter coffee tasted good.Food: 2/5
MUST TRY! BEST SOUTHINDIAN/TAMIL FOOD! Ammmaaazzziiinnggg food! I normally never write reviews but being a chennaite it’s almost impossible to find quality food with perfect spice levels and flavors! I’ve tried almost all south Indian restaurants in Vancouver, Toronto, and Alberta but nothing was even remotely as good as Suvai Dosa! We loved it so much the first time - we ended up coming back again the same week! Not one item that we ordered was mediocre. Every dish was outstanding and excellent! The owner was also very friendly to all customers and checked in personally couple of times! Best SouthIndian / Tamil food in Canada! MUST TRY!
Awesome authentic south Indian/ Tamil food. We had the prawn, Andhra chicken and chicken 65 biryani, with some filter coffee and rasam. All of them were amazing! Best food in Edmonton. Would definitely come here again. Highly recommend!
