I may update my review when I return and I will and try the Korean items. I feel like that's probably where they will shine the brightest. All I had on this visit was the sushi, which was not too bad. I mean, the rolls were good, but the yellowtail nigiri was a tiny bit "fishy" which makes me uneasy. The salmon was okay. I did enjoy the torched salmon. Super yummy! I devoured all of the Korean pickles they served, prior. I'd love to try their ramen as well. The service was very nice. I enjoyed my visit and will try some other items.
Pretty good experience. Very nice ambiance and good variety of food. Fairly priced and super delicious. Service is variable. Sometimes it's fast and they're super nice bring a Korean, but sometimes it's crowded, they're understaffed, and forget stuff. Best if you want high quality Korean food!
This place used to be good but not anymore. The pad thai was bland. It was a box of packed noodles with tough dry chicken, peanuts and beansprouts. I returned it and ordered chicken bulgogi instead but got home to find they gave me chicken in a stir fry sauce which was also bland, with minimal vegetables and definitely not bulgogi sauce. Disappointed.
Ordered from the Korean menu. One of our dishes was left out, so we only got to try one along with fried rice. It was mediocre. When we informed them they forgot it, they seemed to deny that it was overlooked and promised a refund eventually, which has yet to happen. We will try the sushi at a later date, but not very interested in a do over on the Korean items.
I love going to SushiYa with my family! The sushi is delicious and creative. The best thing on the sushi roll menu is the Super Dragon Roll. It's incredible! I love trying the Korean dishes as well, there's nothing else that compares in the Upper Valley. My two year old son loves the Half Udon noodle bowl with broccoli, veggie tempura, and steamed veggie gyoza. The staff is always welcoming and very efficient. We will be back again and again!
Great place for sushi in the Upper Valley. Their lunch special Maki combos and Benton boxes are always a great and affordable choice. They also have a great miso soup. The Korean small dish appetizers that you get served with every meal on the house are also a nice and tasty touch. Make sure to ask for the house tea for a cup of hot tea!
This was our first visit. The girls studied Japan in school this year and wanted to try some of the food they had sampled in their classes. The menu was varied - we tried an assortment. The food was delicious and the service fabulous. I look forward to a return visit.
I love this restaurant. The food is always fabulous. I've been there many times and I would have given five stars, but the last time I was there, the service was lacking. This is totally different from my usual experience and it's possible that our server was new and learning. I'll update after another visit. That being said, the staff overall were very respectful and allowed us to stay a little bit after closing time. Great vegetarian options too.
I just love their Salmon Teriyaki & sticky rice! The bibimbap is also very nice!
They don't actually do dine in, despite the Google listing. We were able to get takeout which was quite good, but obviously we have no idea how the atmosphere or service is.Food: 4/5
