Sushi Toki

Today I randomly went in this grand opened Sushi restaurant. Food is so fresh. Salmon sashimi is my favourite! Big slices! I had some new flavours here that I never had in any other Sushi restaurants before. Highly recommend the Aburi Foie Gras. Love it! Definitely will come back to try other dishes.

Definitely some of the freshest Fish/ Seafood I’ve had just they didn’t have crab when we went. Tempura was light and not greasy. Nigiri, sushi, and aburi was perfect. Only thing id say is they need to fix a fan/ circulation sounds like crickets chirping 24/7 lol. Also lobster roll isn’t worth the price of it not that flavourful just more bland, and abit too much potato sprinkles. Will definitely come back tho 9/10 Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of open room to have mobility no need for ramp etc Tables are all wheelchair friendly.

Overall average sushi/aburi with quite a big mixed menu with hot pots and fried rice etc.. Price is reasonable. Right by Metrotown station, parking available in nearby residential streets. Amazing lighting if you sit by the big windows. Aburi combo had a good selection and torched well. Felt like the rice did not have enough filling inside and tasted a bit bland as a result. Toki roll deep fried combined flavors nicely. Salmon toro had a beautiful presentation and was fresh Aburi hotate was quite lacking, minimal yuzu flavor and again, felt like the rice ratio was high so somewhat bland.

They have varieties of seafood options as well as wagyu beef and foie gras. Sea urchins are the most fresh and tasty thing I’ve ever tasted than other places. Most impressive thing was the price is lower than average. Great place to go. Next time will try their lunch options.Food: 5/5

I had a good sushi lunch set here. The staff were friendly, and service was quick. The nigiri itself was great, but the rest of the set tempura, salad was not 5 stars IMO. I like that this place has nice big windows all around, but otherwise it is quite plain.Food: 4/5

We've visited this sushi place already twice and were very happy with the taste and quality of ingredients. Service is also pretty good as for a new place. The interior is very simple, more like for a quick visit.Food: 5/5

Superb food and service, some of the best sushi I've ever had. The decor could be a bit nicer, but really a non-issue when compared to the delicious food and cost. Vegetarian options: We had a veggie with us who was quite reluctant to go but left happy as an unboiled clam.
