My favourite sushi in Mission. Best for pickup, as they are a little understaffed for dine in, so wait times can be a while. But worth it!

Really nice sit down restaurant. Excellent food, great selection and quite fast service. A little understaffed but still were able to serve food quickly and efficiently. Mission is very fortunate to have 2 exceptional sushi places, Mission Hills which unfortunately is still not back to being sit down and Sushi Te. Great food, good service... Works for me

I don’t like the sushi the especially the sashimi was very little and small pieces and the taryaki has hair in food I don’t recommend you to come here the services was not good
update- the food is still delicious but our server is over worked as usual she does her best and is running ragged!!. She is very over worked! We used to come here 2 or 3 times a month, now we have been driving to Langley because when we come to Sushi Te the tables are full of dirty dishes and the one server is running trying to serve the tables that are eating, clean tables and serve take out. They don't have enough front of house staff to allow the server to do her job properly. There is one other person who comes out of the back to do take out briefly but that is all. We have been eating here regularly since 2004 and have never had a bad meal! Delicious! But they need to staff the front of house properly!
Walked in, restaurant was busy, one server on. Friend ordered tea and miso to start. Was not asked if i needed anything then waited for 20 min. In the middle of my food order server walked away and did not return. Restaurant closes at 8:30, when someone finally came back and I attempted to finish my order, was then told kitchen was closed. It was just after 8. Initial server is one of the owners. Very rude, bit my head off when I asked for ginger and told me that they did not have hot water. Will not be returning. Horrendous service.
Our first experience with Sushi Te when we moved to Mission a couple of years ago wasn't great. So for my birthday eve lunch my wife and I decided to eat here. I couldn't believe how good the food was. I had the unagi rolls eel and their soft crab rolls. Both were excellent. The eel was giant and tasty, and the crab was amazing. We definitely will come back!
