Hubby and I came to this restaurant for the first time as it was recommended by friends of ours. It was a Thursday night, around 6 p.m. and we were the only ones in the restaurant the whole time. A lot of people seemed to be coming in to pick up 'take-out' orders. Our meal was excellent. The reason for the 4 stars is that we would have ordered one more dish when we were almost finished dinner the food was that delicious I wanted to try something else, except that our server - who was very good - did not come back to our table to see if we wanted something else. So we just paid and left. We will be back again as there are other dishes I wanted to try. Nice ambiance.
Best sushi place in Mission. Clean, great food quality, and friendly servers.
Ordered through Skip The Plates. First time trying Akasaka and Skip The plates. It was ok but not great, possibly just not what I am used too. Sauce tasted like it was from a bottle and most of the rolls were messy to the point you could not tell them apart. Skip The Plates experience was fantastic. Order process and delivery process was painless and it was great being able to see the delivery process via their web interface.
Best sushi in Mission by far -miss them and I hope they open up again soon!
Sushi was nothing special, I have definitely had better. I got a deep fried Cali roll, gyoza, and Cali roll. I found it quite expensive compared to others as well. Mine was $19 :/
One of my go to sushi places in Mission, pretty good prices and food. Staff is friendly and service is relatively quick.
Bad service and messy plating... will never come back! Sushi was falling apart on the plate! We waited an hour for very disappointing food and service Only 1 cook and 1 waitress on a very busy night
Best sushi in the lower mainland. Love the food and the people. Very kind, good service. Will go again and again
The Miso soup was the best I've ever had. I also enjoyed a Mission roll. Prices are very reasonable.
My favourite sushi place in mission. Great food, super nice staff, good atmosphere.
