Sushi on Chapel

Maybe they were busy but it was a long wait time. Maybe we need to reserve a table. One seated the wait time to get out food was really long. We got our food but no utensils. Had a tuna roll that was lacking tuna flavor which was agreed with the party on the table. Maybe it was a bad night for them. But overall the food was lacking something. Not a tasty experience for me on my table. The staff members were super nice which was a plus.

Great place to enjoy sushi. Authentic, good priced and delicious. The Restaurant is cozy and comfortable and the servers are very attentive. I would visit again when In the mood for some sushi. The Service was also fast. They probably took 5-10 minutes to serve us our food after ordering. I also included a pic of the menu for reference.

Wow the size of the Kani salad alone! The special purple rice! The little box though was the true star! It came with a dessert and salad and 3 piece California roll. Went back for dinner. My friend got 2 rolls and she liked them. I got the Kani salad again!

Was so good! Got the house salad, miso soup, and spicy tuna rolls. Very fresh and well priced. Went there a week ago. Currently on my way back as I am typing this.

The stairwell makes it a bit more hidden but it's well worth it! The restaurant get light from the back patio so their dining room still gets a decent amount of light. Very attentive and good service throughout the dining experience. Great menu options and loved variety of the sushi. We did the edamame, seaweed salad and the lunch sushi platter for two which was definitely enough for two people. Everything came out fresh and the presentation of the food was great. Would definitely recommend and return!

Good atmosphere even in the midst of a pandemic. Food came out slow but they were very polite throughout the wait with complementary edamame...which is always a nice appetizer. The purple rice sushi will make you smile and it tastes fantastic.

I found it really good! Super delicious I would totally come back here again. I got the sexy shrimp roll and Shrimp tempura I believe and it was bangin’. I recommend!

Good new haven sushi. If u keep ur expectation reasonable, u would like this place. Sushi and sashimi both are good enough. They have relatively good selection of liquor considering this is a sushi place.

Service was quick, sushi was good and fresh. Ended up sitting outside in their back patio area - if you’re looking for outdoor dining they have one table in the back that seats 6!

Food was good. Service was fast. Not huge sushi eaters but this was worth trying something new!
