I have eaten here a handful of times and have not been disappointed, so I’m actually surprised at some of the reviews. It may be because I usually go here when it’s not crowded, but the quality has been consistent, this is one of my favorite places to get sushi in the new haven area.
I was not a big fan of sushi till i found Anaya, OMG i love the Anaya roll is my fav, the place is crean and they are always so nice. THANKS
Nothing special. Nabeyaki Udon soup was really bland. Broth just tasted like water. I had to add soy sauce to soup for salt. California Roll and Yam Tempura rolls were fine but Spicy Tuna wasn't.
We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we arrived in this fine place which friends told us about. We spent a delightful time there with excellent cooking and a well-trained crew and a talented cook. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will definitely come back soon. We highly recommend.
Worst service. Left out 22$ worth of our order. The soup size is also atrocious but would be willing to overlook that if the rest of the experience was okay. Tried to call the restaurant to ask for them to deliver the remainder of the order and no one is picking up the phone because it is a disconnected line.
The best ramen I've ever had in my entire life!
Our final take away here was that if you go here, do that Ramen and the apps. If you "feel" like sushi and you're here, you're good to go on that. But if you're really looking for and craving some good Sushi, you'd likely be able to find a better option with a bit of research. GOOD LUCK!
