Sushi Momo

Ordered delivery via Uber eats and since it was my first order from Sushi Momo it was a gamble, a gamble with my dinner on the line! Fortunately, we’ve won the lottery and it was fantastic! Crazy salmon roll 5/5 Momo roll 5/5 Veggie tempura 5/5 All items were spectacular, perfect ratio of rice in rolls, nicely torched fish on top & lightly crisp tempura made up a perfect dinner. Large menu is accommodating for any cravings mine was torched rolls which are harder to find and impossible to forget Sushi Momo is one of the finest sushi restaurants in Mississauga and I’m looking forward to trying more items on the menu. Highly recommended!

I’ve been coming to this place for a while and I really appreciate their consistency. Their food is soo good. They’ve got a great variety and everything is always presented with a ton of care. The place is clean and they have such kind staff all the time. I will continue recommending to friends and family!

Overall this Sushi place is decent. I've had better elsewhere, but for the price point it does the job. Staff were kind, service was good.

I’ve ordered takeout/delivery from Sushi Momo a number of times and usually it’s pretty good - their rice is typically pretty nicely flavoured, good portions, fish is fresh. But it’s not always great, and it’s frustrating that you can’t predict it. Example: ordered Feb 4 and Feb 18, both on a Fri evening, several of the same rolls — salmon avocado, spicy crab salad, spicy lobster salad, green dragon, and changed it up with another speciality roll. But they were quite different. The earlier order was delicious!!! While the more recent order was very mediocre. You can see in photos, several are not prepared the same - roe on the spicy crab, sesame seeds on the rice, white momo sauce on the lobster salad, one time but not the other. Rice texture is different, gummier in the second set of rolls, rather than the grains being very individual. And the resulting flavours had a huge difference. Another time I ordered the spicy crab, there were sesame seeds on the rice, but I didn’t get spicy sauce or roe on top that came on the one pictured. Why is the preparation not the same each time we order? I don’t know if they have different chefs working or if they have a system of different people contributing to the prep and they miss steps, but the inconsistency is what frustrates me. They can make good food, and I wish that I could know whether I was going to get it when I order from them. I know they ended up being quite busy one night since my order was late, but being both delayed and subpar is not good. I’ve tried many other places in Etobicoke and most are much worse. I hope Sushi Momo will see this and find ways to improve their processes so the results are always delicious! Edited June with cautionary advice: suggest avoiding items with tempura bits, which are mixed into things like spicy salmon. I ordered last night the spicy salmon and ocean rolls and both were soaking in oil from the tempura bits. Tasted greasy, the rolls were soggy, heavy and unappetizing. See last photo. Adding these fried bit is not necessary and takes away from all the freshness you might want from fresh sushi. It was a takeout order, I live less than 10 mins away so it didn’t sit long but was just far enough that I didn’t go back in to complain. Just another example of the potential inconsistencies, perhaps they recently changed chefs.

Fell in love with this place immediately. The food plating and presentation was beautiful and the food tasted amazing. The amazing service was a cherry on top.

I ordered sashimi appetizer, assorted tempura, black dragon roll, spicy california roll and then two mochi ice cream for dessert at the end of the meal! The sashimi appetizers and tempura were so nice and fresh! Also as seen in the photos, the sashimi appetizers were served with big fat pieces! the both black dragon and spicy cali rolls were also very good. The spicy cali rolls were unique and very tasty. when I asked the server for the reason, she said it's the special momo white sauce that makes it unique and so good. I would want to go back to try the lobster salad roll because the server said its another roll on their menu that uses their momo white sauce. This sauce was also given with the crispy chicken that we've ordered for our appetizers. It was so good that I had to order another one to take home for our late night snack. The mochi ice creams were then served with super cute decorations and it was just perfect way to end our delicious dinner! The servers were super nice and attentive. Very cute and delicious sushi restaurant in town that I would highly recommend!

Excellent sushi. Very fresh and large portions. Friendly service too. Nice patio outside. And Sapporo to go! My favourite in Long Branch

The most delicious Miso soup I've ever had and incredible veggie sushi to go along with it!! I got the veggie roll and the veggie dragon roll and loved them both. And I love their little hand written messages!! Can't wait to order again.

This is a cute sushi place with only less then 10 tables. The waitresses here are super friendly and they deserve all the tip that you give. We ordered a plate of Takoyaki with only 6.49, a pretty cheap price for 5 pieces. The salmon love set was amazing. The salmon is super fresh and tasty, the roll is pretty good as well. From the outside look it's not that atrractive, but it sure is a hidden gem.

100% satisfied sushi restaurant in toronto. I choose "Love set, agedashi tofu, dream roll, small sashimi platter". It was amazing combination. Fresh fish, reasonable price, great quality and warmhearted staffs. If you are nearby, I highly recommend this place. Don't hesitate while other eat all.
