We enjoyed our delicious lunch combos. The Sushi combo which included a yummy selection of nigiri sushi which included a perfect bowl of miso soup. The beef teriyaki lunch also included soup and was more than delicious. The portion size seemed very generous and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Reasonably priced menu with friendly service is a good recipe for any restaurant business. However, two of them rarely come together. At Sushi Langford, you wil find them both! Sushi chiefs are personable, and servers are super friendly. Don't judge the place by looking at outside of their restaurant. IMO, they really need to redo the exterior of their restaurant which makes me to think it is a tiny place. Their location at Millsteam is not that great either I haven't been to Belmont yet. Try their sushi and talk to their chiefs. They are proud of serving sushi to people in Langford and visitors. Here are tips: - Service: Excellent - Food: delicious - Ambiance: Dark and modern look For pick up orders, you don't have to wait right inside of the entrance and go to inside nearby casher to order.
The quality of the food, price and quality is fantastic here. Ordered take out called the "Victoria roll combination" and two other meal "Terriyaki salmon and beef combo" these included miso soup and tempura. A great deal!!! Try it out and you won't go to any another sushi place.
Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Seriously tasty. Stayed open and served when I showed up not knowing it was 5 minutes until their lunch break. Again, really, the food is just top notch!Food: 5/5
This used to be my go-to Japanese restaurant. Food is okay only dine-in. I do lunch combo take-out from the restaurant quiet often, all the food and soups are very cold!!! Price has increased dramatically, but service levels and the quality of the food are no longer the same. It’s no longer on my list anymore unless you have no other choices.
Their Yammy Yammy roll is the tastiest sushi I have EVER had! I only did pickup but the inside seems absolutely lovely as well. Incredibly delicious and the freshest tasting ingredients!Food: 5/5
Staff was excellent, food was hot and tasty, restaurant clean and tidy. Inside was a nice dark theme with big booths that could easily fit 8. Highly recommend the Beef don : Vegetarian options: Lots of leafs on the menu for vegetarians Kid-friendliness: Eveyone was polite and quite and the food would be easy to eat Parking: Easy upfront parking
Nice foods and friendly staffs. I liked all of foods especially spicy seafood Udong and creamy mayo shrimp. I will visit soon again.
Great place. Staff is super friendly. It has a nice calm vibe even with a fair amount of people there. They aren't just Japanese food either, they have some Korean dishes like bulgogi. Overall, I enjoy coming here. If I had to find a negative or two, then I'd say the price is high and some specific dishes lacked quality.
I ordered assorted sashimi to go the other day for dinner. The sashimi were pretty fresh, and the service was great. The only thing I want to complain was, they put tamagoyaki sweet egg omelette in my sashimi, then the fishes tasted sweet, tamagoyaki tasted fishy. Plus I haven’t seen any restaurant in the greater Victoria that put tamagoyaki in their sashimi combo people can request for tamagoyaki in the sashimi, but I didn’t, they didn’t ask me either
