I know there’s only a handful of reviews but, THEY DO NOT LIE. This was possibly one of the best sushi’s I’ve ever had in my life. I have been to a lot of high end places all around, but this local restaurant was amazing. The food is just outstanding, I was so amazed. The restaurant it self is very run down and “lifeless” to say the least, but you can’t beat the food. Will most definitely be coming back.
The all you can eat here is absolutely stunning spectacular fabulous wonderful amazing! Super fresh, easy rice, amazing flavor and quick prompt polite service ! From appetizers, to rolls to salads, to nigiri it’s all sooooo goood!!!! You will be so happy eat here and eat here often !
First time ordering from here. The food was delicious. The service was very good and I felt that they appreciated that we were trying them for the first time. The prices were in line with most Chinese/Japanese restaurants. The only reason that they didn’t get 5 stars is the egg roll was a little over done. And the fortune cookie was stale. Overall we are very happy and will definitely be ordering from here again. Used to love a place farther East on Rt. 62 but was very disappointed the last time we ordered then found out new people had taken it over.

Absolutely horrible, sushi felt as if I was chewing on rubber and also they all tasted the same. Please note the yellowtail has a very hard/chewy substance. I spate mine out because I didn’t think it was edible. If you eat here, be careful and don’t have high expectations
Ordered spring rolls, they sent egg rolls. Ordered shrimp tempura and they sent veggie. Sent crunchy noidles, not sure why. Fried rice good.
TERRIBLE , TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE! BEWARE. We visiting this Sushi place at dinner time. This was my first time and the server was extremely rude. I felt like I was a burden. Apparently this is how she treats all her customers. The group I came with said they dined here plenty of times and the Sushi is amazing but the ONE SERVER LADY, in fact, I think she owns the place. DISAPPOINTING. YOU DO NOT TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS. No wonder they are not as busy as they should be. We go to other sushi places and receive top notch service. We were considering walking out! I will definitely not return and neither will my group because even though the sushi is on point - service sucks and who was to support this attitude. I noticed they have a lot of carry out - most likely because people do not want to dine in and receive this service! FIX YOUR ATTITUDE. Last time a friend was at the facility and paid for all you can eat - this lady came and grabbed his plate, gave him the check, basically kicking him out because they "had too much". If this is the case, then don't offer ALL YOU CAN EAT.
I work in the service/hospitality industry and would never give the service that I received in this restaurant. My family came out of town to celebrate my nieces birthday. 3 of us had ordered all you can eat and 4 others had ordered from their regular menu. While they waited for the food to arrive I offered 1 single piece of edamame to both my little 8 and 6 year old nieces, my sister and my husband. Suddenly of the staff members approached the table yelling saying that I couldn’t share and would charge me .75 per piece if they wanted to try the food that I am paying for!! NEVER in my life had I’ve been so embarrassed to share food with my family, it’s not like I was trying to scam the restaurant by offering a piece of food. It was so unpleasant to have the rest of the families dining look at us while she yelled and just ruined the entire dinner experience. For this reason, I will never visit the restaurant again no matter how great the food can be. If the owner reads this please re-train your staff to treat their customers better because as a person who works in the industry I can tell you this type of service is unacceptable.
The rolls are very good! Especially the fried ones. We got the all you can eat deal and it's definitely worth it. Eat roll has something to intice you and definitely needs another visit to try all their specialty rolls. Great place. We went at night so it was less busy. Great find.
3 years I've been coming here to this sushi place. People do i have to tell you that they haven't disappointed me at all. They sushi 100% guaranteed always fresh. Sushi is always made with love and respect. Every bite of sushi you take is just melting in your mouth. The workers here are always responsible, respectful, and caring to their business and loyal customer's. If you want a decent place to eat sushi stop your search because sushi king is the spot to bring friends, love ones , business meeting or even the family. So stop by and give it a quick taste an experience the real sushi king here in algonquin.
