Ordered here multiple times on SkipTheDishes. I was never disappointed with the food quality. Decided to pay a visit in store. The restaurant looks like a 19th century saloon. My favourite roll is the green dragon. The udon noodles is a must. Once dining is opened to the public, I will definitely try all you can eat buffet!
I've gone here quite a few times with both friends and fam, I've also gotten takeout and delivery. Food is always great, fish is very fresh and I've never had a bad peice of sushi from here. Service is up and down and depends on who is working that day. I've had friends that have worked there too and it's a rollercoaster to say the least. However they have become a staple in the town and I will continue to always come back to enjoy some good sushi. Price is a bit expensive for delivery or takeout so I always recommend to sit down and do their all you can eat. But the prices are expected with the quality of the sushi you are getting. Parking: Tons of parking around the back. Dietary restrictions: Majority of the dishes are gluten free just have to avoid the fried things.
Well, today was my last time ordering from Sushi Hama Bolton. My usual order see photo which used to cost me about $47, cost me $64.00 today! When I went in to pay for it, I confronted them about it and asked when they updated their pricing. The response the lady gave me was “we haven’t raised our pricing in about 3 years”. This is simply not the case considering I was there very recently and the prices had not changed. Their own website also still has old pricing. Not worth it anymore. Plus, my spicy California roll was smothered in spicy sauce. Gross.
**UPDATED** 2023-02-19 Prices increased 25%! Meaning our weekly $110 order is now $145. Cash discounts of 10% if you pay cash to avoid taxes. Will be looking for a new regular despite the years of loyalty to this restaurant. Updated pricing on my review from $30 to $40 per person to $50 to $60. **ORIGINAL** Great sushi, butterfly's are to die for! I order once a week from here, reasonable pricing and always friendly service Parking: More parking than what could fill the restaurant.

Mostly excellent but have been disappointed by freshness of their salmon sashimi a few times. Still order it because usually good. Miss the dine in options because the tempura are definitely better at restaurant then as take home.Food: 4/5
10/10 for customer service! So quick & friendly. Loved the atmosphere. Would always do take-out here but since becoming all you can eat, I’ve now found my go to! Would recommend to anyone!
We placed our order well in advance, yet we had to wait another 40 mins at the restaurant for pick after showing up at the scheduled time. A total wait of an hour and 45 mins. There were 10 people waiting around for pick up when I got there. The people filling out the orders were hustling, but they seemed to have taken on waaay too many orders....far beyond what they could handle. When one customer who was waiting around was not happy with the wait, one of the guys rolling the sushi rudely told him to cancel if he didn't like waiting. He apparently had been waiting for 2 hours. Far cry from Japanese restaurants where you get welcomed in! The food, however, was the redeeming part. Tasted fresh and flavourful. We ordered a salmon lover, assorted sushi, General Tao chicken, and spicy Maki soup. The sashimi was excellent. My least favorite was the General Tao's chicken. Not very flavourful, kinda boring. While the food was good, the delay dampened the experience. It's not fun when you have to scramble to whip up something for the little people at home, especially when you planned to have takeout. They need to get better organised and be more respectful to their customers. Might consider returning, but not for a while.
Ordered take out different types of maki rolls. Gentleman on the phone was friendly and pleasant and same in person when I went to pick up. Place is a bit dark and musty. Sushi wasn't the best either. I ordered mostly veggie options and ones with shrimp. My favourite one was the gold veggie - nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. However, the rest of the options didn't taste fresh or well seasoned overall. Avocado and shrimp were not fresh and food tasted quite bland. Not sure if I will be coming back.
This places prices are insane for ayce. 38.99. Drive an extra 15 minutes and go to sake sushi or Akita in Woodbridge. You'll save money as a family and get way more selection.Food: 3/5
