Sushi Aboard

Visited Mar 1 2022 Location is very unique. Sushi comes to you on a train. Very cool. There isn’t much for customer service as your only been seated by someone and water and tea are being delivered by a person everything else is delivered by the train. The food is delicious and came out hot for the hot stuff and cold for the cold stuff so it was decent. Prices are À la cart and reasonable. It’s about $25-$30 per person and you leave feeling full. Down sides are you can only order 6 items at a time on the screen then must submit, and continue placing order. There isn’t plates given to you if your in a group sharing. They don’t split the bill by person on what you ordered. And there’s not much human interaction. Overall 4/5 rating.

Sushi aboard is an incredibly unique dining experience that’s accompanied by some good sushi. The bullet train service and touch screen ordering system were both fun and easy-to-use additions to the dining experience. Also the rolls that we ordered were good quality and very tasty especially the Popcorn Roll. You definitely pay premium for the unique experience. It’s worth checking out for the bullet train service, but you can find similar quality sushi elsewhere for a lower cost.

Took my son for his first Sushi experience here and it was fabulous. The food was amazing. Beautifully prepared and tasted so good! Little train appears with your food, and everything was nicely presented. We cleared everything we ordered and left very satisfied.

Incredible presentation, fresh seafood and great atmosphere. Has now become my favorite place for salmon sashimi... it was so incredibly fresh! This restaurant has a very unique style and uses technology to their advantage. Great idea with the sushi "train"!

love that there where various vegetarian options. it was a great time and food, never been to a restaurant like this. if you are able, seat closest to the windows as you will experience the trains a little better. the food was delivered very fast. complimentary tea was delicious.

Food was amazing and very fresh. The train was really cool and it surely showcases what technology can do. Although some things on the menu were a bit overpriced. But overall, it’s worth dropping by and checking out!

WOW! Excellent and efficient concept for a restaurant. The tablet at each table allows you to see every item on the menu and order it. Service was extremely fast. Food arrived at the table minutes after ordering. Every $25 that your table spends, play a quick mini game to win a discount card to use today or the next time. No reservations. 75 minute time limit. Table booth can fit 4 people comfortably. If you’re a big group, you’ll need to sit at different tables. Overall, excellent experience. Highly recommend Sushi Aboard!

We drive out there just to try this place for a special occasion. We waited 1 hour!! You put your name down on the waiting list and get a text when you're next so you can shop around and come back. But we were too hungry to go anywhere. By the time we sat down it was 8pm and cold. The waiter came by to tell us kitchen will close in 15 min. We waited an hour and felt like we're being rushed out. The food is average. Tasted like other sushi places. The special rolls were fun. Like someone else said in the reviews, the food is little more expensive than other places. My chicken karaage was so dry and brown oil needed to be changed. I guess I did go there for the little bullet train, which was fun to watch. Done

This place is one of the best out the town. Everything is fresh and taste genuine. Clean and cozy place, friendly staffs, Even good place to dine in with your little ones. Wie'll be there again for sure and highly recommend this place to anyone in Vancouver who's looking for a good sushi place.
