Since 2010, Surmesur offers a unique retail experience. Clients of Surmesur are invited to create made-to-measure clothing based on their unique tastes, styles, preferences and needs. Surmesur combines new technologies with traditional methods to help ensure that our clients’ apparel is created exactly as they imagine. With a catalog of over 8000 fabrics, and additional customizable options, the possibilities of what you can create are almost limitless. You can create suits, shirts, blazers, trousers and other garments, customized from the cut to the finishing, as well as any small detail desired.

I got married! From the groom: Surmesur: Fantastic service! Mickey and the team at Surmesur were great, they treated me well, answered all of my questions and set me up to look absolutely fabulous on my wedding day of. Great selection of clothes, very comfortable and worth the price.
My husband and I are thrilled with the services we received at Surmesur! We worked closely with Andrew and his team and they were FANTASTIC!! Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and patient as this was our first time building a suit from scratch. It was for our wedding and it couldn’t have turned out better! They worked incredibly hard and assisted my husbands groomsmen as well! Thank you so much Andrew and team at Surmesur! We would 1000% recommend them to anyone!
I have used Surmesur's services in the past and have had a good experience, so when it came to getting my groomsmen suited up for my wedding they were on my list of options. We started at Moore's and we're disappointed with the service, so decided to check out Surmesur. I wrongly assumed that they would be outlandishly expensive, but was pleasantly surprised to find that this wasn't the case. Their price was competitive, and the product is excellent. What differentiates Surmesur over most other tailor's I have used in their service. Todd was an absolutely Rockstar coordinating every aspect of the process and made the process of getting my 5 groomsmen not all of whom were in Ottawa suited up and looking great. I can't recommend these guys enough. You will not be disappointed.
Michael was absolutely great to work with. He helped me and my future wife build the perfect suit for our wedding day. He confidently guided us through the process and made excellent recommendations. He then created and measured 7 suits for all of my groomsmen in the exact amount of time he said it would take. The suit measuring experience was very personalized and he made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves while he measured the guys one by one. The guys all loved their experience and said they’d be going back for their next suits. Great customer service, great price and even better experience. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
My experience at Surmesur was definitely 5 stars. Michael Mickey was absolutely fantastic. Helped me feel comfortable and made the suit buying experience fun and easy. He's extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. He had so many good recommendations and suggestions for my custom suit. Picked up my suit today, and the fit was perfect. Will be recommending this shop and Michael to everyone I know.
Throughout spring and summer I got two suits from Surmesur: my wedding suit and my wedding party's, as well as for my best man's wedding this summer. Working with them in Ottawa was a great experience. From making it work that my brother from overseas would pick up his suit and get it altered the day before the wedding, to guiding me and us through the whole thing was great. I couldn't be happier with the result, and feel it's the start of a long-term relationship.
I would recommend the services at Surmesur Ottawa to anyone. Todd Pratt personal stylist provided great advice and , helped me customize every detail of my wedding suit. It turned out better than expected and I can't thank Todd enough for his expertise.
Todd treated me like family. He never saw me once as a customer and remained honest throughout the whole process. He defines "full-service", from the first meeting all the way to the wedding day itself, Todd was available and became like a brother to me. He made sure me and wedding party looked perfect on the special day. If you ever want a suit, got to Surmesur, ask for Todd and know that you're working with the most incredible person. Thank you, Todd, without you, I wouldn't have looked almost as good as my wife ;
Great experience! Walked in there with a general idea of what I wanted to wear for my brother's wedding. Michael Mickey was my stylist and I said: I want something green, classy and stylish, something that stands out, just enough to turn heads but not give people neck pain. Mickey took the time to show me all my options. Excellent stylist! I got everything I wanted and more. Just came back from the wedding and let me tell you that suit was magical!
Todd and Andrew took care of me for my wedding suit - great experience from start to finish and a great suit. Also had the opportunity to work with Mick. He went out of his way coming in on his off day to help us. Highly recommend.
