The Supernova Team is a group of motivated, passionate hairdressers. We are a boutique green salon striving to excellent at our craft! We are passionate about team work and education and are an award winning salon. We work with Kerastase, Kevin Murphy and the Wella professionals / Sebastian Creative.
We are in your neighbourhood and we would love to do your hair!

The BEST hair salon in town!! My hair has never looked better. Bébel is an OUTSTANDING hair stylist with excellent taste and recommendations. She even recommended me so many great products that I bought on the spot!! Also such a great environment, five stars!!
I love this salon. The end to end experience is one of the best I've had to in Vancouver and the North Shore. The receptionists are always friendly, professional and accurate in doing bookings or helping with questions or attending to me when I first arrive. I love my stylist, Bella. She gives me great cuts and really natural looking, low maintenance colour and highlights. Here is a photo I took without waves. When I get a blow out and curls there, they all do the curls the same way, they have been trained in the same technique. I recently learned the don't rent chairs at this salon, which I believe can lead to inconsistencies in quality and service. I have seen another stylist here, Simran, who was amazing when mine was not available in the timeline when I wanted to book and that's not something you can do at a salon that rents chairs. The owner Dana is so talented, skilled and creative, she is always doing styles which are displayed on their TV at the washing station. If you want the best unicorn hair in town, ask for Dana, she is award winning and does incredible work.Service: Hair coloring
Jillian is amazing! Very professional, friendly and kind. She did such an amazing cut and I could not love more the colour she did to my hair. I can't wait to sit back in her chair as I know I will feel confident with my hair afterwards and it is a great feeling! Love the selection of products in the salon. Reception team are very friendly and helpful. Gabby understood what I wanted and was super friendly, efficient and professional. I had a long overdue haircut which made my hair feel healthy and freshened up. I definitely trust Supernova with my hair!
This was my first time having my hair done at Supernova- the salon is beautiful and staff are all friendly and very professional. Bella was recommended to me and she certainly didn’t disappoint. I absolutely love my colour and my shorter cut, and I’m not easy to please. Bella is a balayage master and my new go to stylist - highly recommend her! My wife goes here often but last time when she came back she told me she feels itchy and when she checked herself in the mirror she realized they even didn’t clean up her neck! Look at the photo Also as you see in photos her back is not even so they didn’t even finish their job. Now she is going to go to another hairstylist to fix what they messed.Service: Hairstyling
I really like Supernova. The space is beautiful and the service is great. I had Bella who was friendly, fast and gave a great quality haircut. I don’t normally like my hair the same day it gets cut especially straight, but I loved my haircut! I couldn’t believe how fast she was too! I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Amber did a fantastic job on my hair! I've never walked out of a salon and immediately been happy with a a haircut until now. She's very lovely, listens to exactly what you want and it doesn't feel rushed at all. Thank you so much!!Service: Hairstyling
