4 of us took Banff trip with the company. Adam delivered excellent service. My 5 years old daughter absolutely loved our tour guide Adam. The bus drive worked hard and diligent. We are happy customer and will return.
We joined the Rockies four day tour, and it was fantastic. This experience ave me a whole new definition of joining tour, in a good way. I am not a big fan of joining a tour, but this time I joined with my family. I have to agree that the schedule was tight, but given the situation, it couldn't have been any better. Our tour guide, Michael, was a very friendly person, with a great sense of humour. Did I say friend? Yes I meant it. It really felt like going on a trip with a good new just-met friend . Everything was well-arranged. He clearly loves his job and his ability is way off the chart compare to other tour guides One of the biggest reason why I am not a big fan of tour. There was never a single moment of boredom ever occurred. Very informative and descriptive. Keep educating us with his knowledge on the Rockies mountain. He showed us these amazing sights with interesting stories in between. Just couldn't get enough of it. Our driver was very nice and a very defensive driver. Really appreciate the comfortable ride, especially with a long trip like his. The hotels were pretty cozy. Clean and most importantly ODORLESS. The meals is probably an 8/10, but we don't need that two points as we are not there to eat. It is totally worth it. Couldn't be any better. If I ever needed to join a tour again, it would be under Super Vacation.
We went to Rockies 4 days tour. It was a long bus trip. We had good time, driver William drove safely and the tour guide Marco did a very good job - he is very helpful and well organized. We paid a little bit extra for more sight seeing places but well worth it. We changed hotels every night, I liked the hotel in Banff - it was the best one. Meal plans had a balance of great meals and average meals. In response to one of the previous reviews, Marco did collect service fee on the first day, which I thought was fair. We knew that we needed to pay anyway so it didn't matter if we paid the fee at the beginning or at the end of the trip. You get what you paid for, and it was worth what I paid for. Oh, one more thing: it's definitely an Asian culture themed tour, so if you want to hear a little more about Chinese practices it's worthwhile.
Joined Super Vacation for 4 days Canadian Rockies Mountain tours on 2019 Aug 12-16, had the 2.5h complimentary city tour Canada Place, Stanley Park & Granville Island was done by Marco. A heavy smoker, arrogant and drove the bus like a race car and using residential street to beat the traffic is a no no for tourist and give a bad impression and there's a mandatory tip for the sightseeing. The 2 for 1 night tours is a Scam and i suggest other people to avoid this mistake as I did. The price is $35 + 5% BC tax for 2 people for the night tour, and basically they bring you to the same place as the day complimentary tour Canada Place, Gastown Steam Clock & Photo shot 10mins max of Olympic Village. We have to stay in Canada Place for an 1h while waiting other group members that had meal plan for downtown supper at Tsui Hang Village Restaurant Vancouver BC. The 2 for 1 night tour, i don't recommend and it was a waste of money + Tipping again and there's nothing worth to see. It was more a money grab by the tour agency for selling ticket and asking more money. The Rockies Mountain tours on the bus explanation was mostly Mandarin 90% of the time, 9 % in broken mandarin English that only the tour guide understood and for Cantonese people he barely say anything for the whole 4 days. If you didn't join the meal plan, the tour guide charge $70 cdn for the mediocre buffet @ Chateau Lake Louise and $20 CDN for the Lotus inn Buffet in Kamloops. Mostly everyday your in the bus for more than 6h and 9h for the last day return to Vancouver Airport and for each attraction time was giving 20-1.5h max. Super Vacation is mostly for Asian people for Rockies Mountains tours as it included stays, admission ticket , bus transportation but it excluded tipping Mandatory fees. The hotel stay was good but none provide free complimentary breakfeast Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport, Prestige Harbourfront Resort @ Salmon Arm, Elk +Ave @ Banff, Holiday inn Express @ Golden. There's plenty of McDonald's on the trip, a Walmart, IGA Grocery to buy your food for breakfast or snack to eat on the bus. I'am glad i didn't join any meal plan as i heard and it consist of mostly chinese food arrange in a sharing table and it consist of 6 dish and 1 soup for 10 people sharing! I was able to have better food for better value @ my own and there's plenty of good to expensive food at Banff, Alberta such as Banff Ave Brewing or The Keg Steakhouse. For my next Rockies Mountain experiences, will prefer driving from a rental car from Calgary to Lake Louise and Banff and return to Calgary, as it save a lots of time wasting on Driving and less time for attractions.
I joined this company's tour due to my friend's recommendation. Their price is very competitive and the tour guide who served my friend was nice. Their office was on the 2nd floor, I went there and quickly finished booking Victoria one-day tour. During the trip, our guide was busy because he had to speak the narrations three times!--Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Very professional!
Very good experience. Adam is very friendly and nice, and took care of our group.
Group of 6, went to Banff, for 4 days 3 nights. Alan was our tour guide. Mainly spoke English, Mandarin, and sometimes Cantonese. He was punctual, organized and accommodating. The entire tour went very smoothly. No one smoked at all during the tour.
We, a group of 8, booked the 4-night Rockies Tour through GetBus Tours and were told that it was a Chinese/English tour. Half the passengers were non-Chinese speaking. At the start of the tour the guide advised us that it was a Chinese-speaking tour and the company discourages speaking in English. Also his job was to manage the tour and not get into 'small talk', answer questions and point out items of interest. For that we should go to the internet. He practically admonished us as if we were small school children. On the 1st day he spoke no more than 10 minutes in total. The bus driver was more helpful. He did speak more English as time went on but we were already cheesed off by then and just decided that we make the best of it. If the tips were voluntary, he did not deserve a single cent.
Worst ever company. Do not travel. They only want to fool innocent travellers. They take extra money during the trip for places not included and pressurise you to see them. All Chinese speaking. Tour guide Marco is extremely greedy- constantly smoking amd rude. Only at the time of collecting tips - talks a decently. DO NOT TRAVEL
Worst 'tour bus' experience that I have ever come across. Got off the bus feeling as if I didn't even see any of Victoria on Vancouver Island. All of the 'tourist attractions' we were taken to were not suited for the day, weather and time of year. Once we did finally get off the bus to see something, it was very rushed and no time was given. I am so overly disappointed and feel as if I need to go back to Victoria on my own, as I do not feel like I got to have a visit and look around the area. The day consisted of sitting in a bus, ferry and switching transportation.
