Good basic hotel, friendly staff, rooms are acceptable. They should get rid of the carpet though and should put seats/tables where the outside smoking section is. If you like carbs, the breakfast is ok, if you are diabetic, you will only be able to eat the boiled eggs, they should offer a leafy green vegetable and that would be acceptable.
Perfectly acceptable hotel for the weekend hockey trip. The room is big enough and the queen beds are comfortable.nThe breakfast is limited: bread, bagels, cold cereal, yogurt cups and overcooked hard boiled eggs. I wish there was a hot oatmeal option or waffles.nThe shower was hot with plenty of pressure and the room was quiet at night even though we were right across from the elevator.nThe service is okay but a bit slow.nThe water slide is great.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. This place used to be clean but not lately. Lot of the amenities are either broke or not functional.
The day shift large Caucasian woman is not friendly that's why we rated the service 1. The night shift large woman is friendly and so is the Black woman during the day. The AC was not working properly and didn't keep up for cooling the room until after midnight.
SPORTS TEAMS STAY AWAY.nFrom a rude welcome to scamming 3 teams out of 200$/family $8400 super 8 bonus in “fees” and everything in between.n1 Don’t go before 4PM check in because you be rudely told to go away as no rooms will be given for early check in.n2 Don’t go if you like to socialize as they will not allow you to sit or stand in common areas to talk and ANY time of day. They will how ever allow you to pay an extra 200$ to rent a room until 11pm where you will then be kicked out and charged 100$ per extra 5 minutes in the room.n3 You book as a team and they will place the entire team on different floors. 5 teams were at the hotel and yet they chose to place members of each team across several floors instead of placing each team together. They then go on to complain at noon that kids are running around the halls. It feels as if the hotel purposefully places team in different areas to cause “noise complaints” and then charge all teams 200$ extra in fees to make more money.n3 They hire a 13 year old to limit the kids going down the water slide. This kid is clearly not a trained life guard. He allows to kids to go down at once and they hit their heads. Instead of checking if they are ok he kicks them out claiming it was their fault.n4They will treat all sports teams as if they are criminals and place everyone in the same basket even if it’s clearly one person causing problems.n5 They leave a list of all the family’s names, room number as well as the number of kids in the room on the front desk for everyone to see. This is a huge privacy issue.nAll in all terrible experience and a first as a hockey parent who has stay and many hotels over the years. Save yourself the heartache and stress - stay elsewhere even if it costs you 50$ more.
