What started out a bit rough turned out great. Slave Lake had a water main break which left the hotel without water for the afternoon and evening. The lady at the front desk was very kind and cooperative. Our room was clean and the breakfast was great. Satellite was out....tough on the kids but they enjoyed the waterside. I was wishing the hot tub was working. We would stay here again.

As usual the hit tub is still broken. Hence the four stars. However the staff is pleasant and ready to help

Great location, just off the highway. There's a McDonald's right beside. And plenty of shopping across the highway. My room was a queen room with one bed. Room was very nice and clean, Bed comfortable and well made. Room had a mini fridge, microwave, and 1 cup coffee maker. As well as a couch, which I really enjoyed after a long day driving. Would definitely recommend and stay at again.

I have stayed at many hotels as my job has me travelling all over Alberta and I can say without a doubt that super 8 is the worst chain hotel to stay at, and this ranks as one of the lowest. It is the worst WiFi I have ever had in a hotel, the non smoking room smelled like cigarettes, and the heating system in the room was incredibly loud. The breakfast was the worst I've had in a hotel, the eggs were undercooked, the meats were overcooked, and the fresh fruit did not look fresh. I will make sure I stay at a different hotel on my next trip through slave lake.

It was a typical Super 8 motel . The setup is the same as others. With a pool, A slide, and a hot tub. The hot tub was broken down when I stayed. The facilities themselves seem old but semi clean. Definitely not clean clean. Housekeeping of the rooms is sub par. Towels and sheets had stains on them and rooms are dated. Would not stay in this hotel again. The only upside are the friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast was more than I was expecting. Some eggs and sausages with muffins and bagels. The eggs were unappetizing though.
