Sunshine Coast Health Centre

My sons and I attend the local Sober Sports, in town, every Monday, that the center puts on. Great bunch of guys that come out and great staff that get in and play the game. Big shout-out to Kye, Hans, and the rest of the staff for showing up, providing all the equipment, and who rent the space that’s needed. Keep up the good fight gang and continue doing what you do! Proud to have you as part of our community.

It's been about two years now since I left the centre and I have completely turned my life around. I truly believe that everything I learned at the centre helped a great deal in allowing me to overcome my additions and lead a healthy life. I have my own business now, a loving girlfriend and will be buying my first house this year. Thank you SCHC for everything

SCHC is a first-class care facility that offers a genuine & individualized approach to recovery. The staff - from food service, client services to nurses and doctors - are all incredibly involved, approachable and friendly. The environment is pristinely kept in top shape. The rooms are comfortable and even the layout of the shared rooms allows for privacy. Along with your mandatory morning group therapy sessions, SCHC offers many optional excursions (hikes, rec centre, shopping mall) & therapy sessions (art, smart, massage, exercise) that you can partake (or not) at your leisure. I felt that the more relaxed schedule allowed for more reflection & the ability to have time to create real meaningful relationships with both clients and staff. I feel that SCHC gives you the keys to the car, but doesn’t try to drive it for you. There is little that you are FORCED to do, and with that - I find personally that I was more apt to engage and get involved because it felt like it was MY decision. Recovery is an extremely subjective process and SCHC was critical in helping me pinpoint and address the underlying issues of my addiction problems. Thanks SCHC for helping me get my life back!!

This Facility is amazing. Every staff member always has a smile for you, and the site is beautiful. You can't get a more peaceful setting for recovery. I attended this facility for PTSD, and would HIGHLY recommend choosing to come to SCHC. This centre treats the whole body and as a result they offer many additional treatments other than just talk therapy. This facility includes, massage (RMT), ozone therapy, meditation, hypnotherapy, art therapy, yoga, a full gym and swimming pool, as well as an onsite Doctor, Psychiatrist, and full-time nursing staff. The food is great and plentiful. This is not a lockdown facility, you have the freedom to move about the site freely, and there are daily outings with the group. You will not regret choosing SCHC.

This is a world class facility that provides incredible treatment and guidance. SCHC has given me the gift of personal growth and empowerment. When I arrived, I was broken and scared and I'm leaving the best version of myself possible.
