Just ordered on Uber eats, not too pleased. I ordered a Benedict and it came with some weird spice on it and it wasn't in the description which ruined the meal for me. $40 gone. With that, i tried to order just a single chocolate chip pancake but the app makes us pay for some random deluxe item which is an additional charge so we just selected a single pancake and asked to add chocolate chips and recieved a passive aggressive note along with that saying to order the chocolate chip one and to pay for something we don't want
I really wanna take time to appreciate the new management and their service. Actually, we stopped eating here for a while since we had been dissatisfied with the food and service in the past. We ended up returning to this location earlier this week after a long gap, and it appears to be under new management. Myself and my family was so happy with their service and food this time. All the staffs were attentive and they provided excellent services and our food arrived quicker than ever. Looking at the reviews, I believe most people had a negative impression. Trust me, it’s worth giving them a second chance, and you’ll absolutely love it.
My first time coming to this beautiful establishment was incredible. I took my husband, kids and grandkids here after church. A beautiful young brunette girl was our server and she was incredible. I had a delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and had some chocolate chip pancakes. Keep up the good work guys! In the name of the Lord, Amen.
Been coming to this location for many years with my family. Looks like it's under new management but the service is horrendous. Came in at 11:25 am and ordered within 5 min and by 12:30 pm we did not receive our food. One staff member told us four times, "the food is coming". After the third time I didn't believe him. Our table was getting frustrated and I can see other tables asking themselves when they are going to receive their food. At that point our table just got up and left. This is the worst service I have experienced. Not even the manager came to our table to explain the reasoning. This will definitely be our last time attending this location unless you want to wait almost an hour for breakfast. Good riddance Sunset Grill King City location.
Amazing food, amazing people. The service was so good it made me feel like I was back home. Thank you guys for the amazing service and great food and I wish genuinely nothing but the best for this business to grow one day. Will definitely be returning soon and will invite all my friends and family to come as well!!!
Was there today. Food was good but service was terrible. Met my don daughter in law and the 8 year old twins to eat before they played hockey at 1pm. We were there at 11am, ordered and didn’t get our food until 12:15 pm. My son’s omelet was wrong as well. Table behind us complained about how long it took and the table in front of us took their food to go as it took so long. Our waitress was really good. Spoke to manager and he stated that their average wait time is 1 hour. Seriously we are talking bacon eggs and pancakes. Need to step up your game. Head office is my next stop
I have to second some recent reviewers observations that this location, which used to be quite good, has gone badly downhill. One server for numerous tables means delay, no one’s fault but management, but when you order lox ie. smoked salmon, you expect it to be pink, not white! Sent it back, the server acted like she had no idea what the problem was, as if she did not know what colour salmon is supposed to be and the cook pulled the rest out of the fridge, seeing it was all white, declared it fine. We did not eat it but we’re charged for it nonetheless. My breakfast while the right colour was Luke warm. Plenty of other breakfast choices in the area so we will not be back.
Prior to COVID, this was our favorite spot to have breakfast and brunch. The owners were awesome, the service & food was great. Today was our first visit back, and we were disappointed! We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast combo, and coffee....while staff walked around aimlessly. When the food did arrive, bacon was overcooked and pancakes were raw! We will need to find a new place in king city...any suggestions?
We waited 2 hours for our food. We were empathetic because only 2 people working one cooking other doing everything else. Needless to say we watched as 4 other tables were served before us. We walked out and left and she tells the cook to forget about it, signaling to me they hadn't started our order. Disgusting is all I can say, first come first serve is it not. I like to keep my money in my community but I will never go back. There are plenty of Sunset Grills or breakfast spots in neighbouring communities.
Today I went to this location with my friend I went many places but here I have a very good experience the food was delicious and the waitress are so friendly the cook is professional when we ordered the food within 15 minutes the food was on our table. Very clean And good service I highly recommended this restaurant keep it up
