As usual you can't go wrong with breakfast at Sunset. Friendly servers, quick service, good food with good sized portions. Quick coffee refills. Tried the new meat lovers poutine, enjoyed it. Big meal, would get again. Just feel they could've coordinated just a little better on the timing of bringing the food over, as one member of our family sat with no food, as we all waited for his food to arrive before we could wait.
I always like going to Sunset Grill. Nice, classic, home town vibe, it's traditional home-made style breakfast foods, not like McDonald's or Tim Horton's of course. More expensive than fast food, but not unreasonable. A nice treat once a week maybe if you want to go out somewhere. They always have very friendly staff. No complaints :
I came with my family for the 4th anniversary celebration and was blown away. There were free pancakes for the kids and complimentary tea and coffee for the adults. Our 4yr old was so excited to have his face painted as well. The restaurant was packed but Stephanie the owner had it running like a well oiled machine. Her staff were prompt and efficient with their work. The food took a little while to arrive but understandably as it was so busy. When we did receive it, everyone tucked in with gusto. It was hearty, delicious and the eggs were all cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the food was delicious and the coffee was great. We will be back for sure!
It’s a hit or a miss. Our last visit, the server was friendly. But our food came out at all different times. There were barely no potatoes on our plates. She said they had run short, but they had the nerve to put about 10 little pieces on our plates how embarrassing. Then we got an extra plate after of potato’s only because we asked The French toast was super dry and tasteless. We also ordered the waffle with fruit and whipped cream. For $10 the waffle was small and just embarrassing Not worth the money for sure. I felt we got ripped off. Not impressed Will not return
First time at this location, but not at Sunset Grill. Met a friend for brunch on Thursday. Server was friendly but not overbearing, and gave us time to chat. I had one of those breakfast combos that included bacon eggs and 2 pancakes. This review is mainly about the pancakes. I was genuinely impressed with them. They were dream pancakes. I took most of my food home because I wasn't that hungry at the time, but even reheating them a day later in the air fryer, those pancakes still delivered. So shout out to whoever was responsible for preparing my food that day. Keep up the good work! :
We went for my aunt's bday there was 11 of us on a Friday morning the waitress was awesome, attentive and extremely friendly!!! All staff was so nice and food was yummy as well. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend this location.
Usually very busy and rightfully so as the staff is extremely friendly and professional. The food portions are fantastic considering the price point. Family friendly as long as you manage to get a spot, Usually the wait for the table is not that long thou.Food: 5/5
