Went in recently, asked for a rare stake and came back well done. Once the stake came back it was medium well… The waitress proceeded to say that she didn’t know much about steak or meat… How are you a waitress and you don’t know how to take a steak order and direct that to the Cooks…. They used potatoes that tasted off and were sweet instead of normal potatoes to use for hash browns. We also ordered the California Benedict and it looked like they dump half a jar of paprika on top… It’s sad when the only good thing about the meal was the coffee. Was genuinely surprised the coffee itself wasn’t burnt as when we first received the steak you use it as a hockey puck. We also received an order of waffles and it was like cutting into cement. I never wanted to rate a restaurant a negative star before until now. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.
Great experience, the husband and wife running this location actually care for you, unlike other restaurants just hungry for your money. They're highest priority is you as soon as you walk through their door, a very warm welcome from them will put a smile on your face. They have options for all, I don't eat pork and they had substitutes for every meal that had pork to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Would recommend to anyone living in or visiting Bolton to give them a shot!
I had a delicious California Benedict, and everyone else at our table enjoyed their choices as well! Unfortunately, there were not enough cooks to accommodate the morning and lunch crowd, and we waited over 30 min to get our food. That's a long time to wait with 2 small children. But the good was hot and delicious! It would have also been nice to see paper and crayons available for the kids of there's a longer wait typically.
Worst breakfast i had Food was not cooked Patty was raw Service was slow Juice they said its fresh but its not it a regular bottle OJ I paid 60$ and i dont think i was deserve even 6$ Really bad experience
Worst service I have ever experienced, we ordered eggs that was was still raw, mushy home fries and expired yogurt. I'm not one to complain about food so I tried to eat around the undercooked eggs and asked to order something other than the Berry yogurt because it was sour! When it came to paying the bill the owner insisted that the yogurt was fine and billed me anyways and demanded payment. If you are looking for some good breakfast, this is not the place to go!
At sunset grill, I as a customer was welcome with smile which made my day. Food service was great and the taste and quantity of food was adequate. Even staff working there were amazing and friendly. I didn’t had to wait for long for my food and it was amazing. Vegetarian options: Yes there are vegetarian options available Kid-friendliness: Yes it is kids friendly and even kids menu is great Parking: Got space for parking easily
DISGUSTING! My husband and I ordered the western omelet and bacon and eggs combo and both were absolutely horrible! A big huge plate of oil and grease!!!! The waitress is rude and uneducated and when asked questions would say...WHAT< !!!! a thousand times. Like she didn't understand what I was saying. If I could give it zero stars I would! The pancakes are not buttermilk and simply water!!!! and also the omelet had no cheese to hold it together. I get that we are all trying to save a buck but at least put some effort into the dishes. Potatoes were old and drenched in oil residue. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ENTER THIS ESTABLISHMENT!
This place is a mess . My husband ordered bottle water 10 times the food came and still the water would not arrive. I ordered the California Benedict expecting to get poached eggs and apparently their Benedict dont include poached eggs they said we change it . So overall a really bad experience , horrible service , they kept trying to give us menus three times even though we already ordered. Dont waste your time here might as well make something home.
The food was great! I’ve been to other Sunset Grill locations, and the food at the Bolton location definitely exceeded my expectations!! Also, the service was great - we didn’t have to wait long, even though it was relatively busy. And the staff was friendly!
Scammer Alert !!!! Waitress was absent, ? 1 order of 3 pancakes. 1 order of a wrap & home fries. 1 order eggs & toast. 2 orange juice. $56.00 !! The food here in general is terrible, ya I know most places like this aren't anything to write home about but yuk.... I asked to see the bill seeming no waitress came with a bill, so at the register....she said they were large orange juice's 2 were $14.00 !! they were 1/2 a pop glass I let the people know behind the cash the food was terrible, service was not there and the price topped it off, just go to McDonald's, and save $25. On this same amount of food. Total scam, no reciept until I had to ask about the price....beware !
