Sunrise Skillet

Great breakfast place. Was very busy but we sat at the bar and got seated right away. Skillets are awesome. Biscuits and gravy were good. You can get them in half serving size too.

Visited for breakfast today. They were busy! Hostess was welcoming. Ashley was our server. She was great! Polite, friendly and attentive. She juggled her many tables fantastically. Food was delish. Sunrise Special for me and the hubs, kids pancake for the little. Those pancakes are worth a return! Lots of great menu items, skillets, omelets, "lighter side" section. They serve brunch too. Yum!!!

Our waffles were delicious! Peanut butter and banana and Carmel pecan with extra whipped cream. My daughter had had a horrible doctors appointment. So extra whipped cream it was. Homemade too. Our waitress was adorable. Thank you Andrea!Dine in: Yes

We ended up here when the diner we originally planned to go to was closed. The place was clean and the one waitress and cook kept things moving. The menu offered many good looking options for breakfast We ordered the veggie skillet and the western skillet. Both were really good. The coffee was good and hot, always a plus. Neither of us could finish our food. I definitely recommend.

This was my second time dining here at Sunrise Skillet and I was disappointed. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and my food was burnt. I could taste the bitterness of the burnt tortilla in every bite and my food drowned in their "Rancheros sauce." Each bite got salty-er and more bitter that I couldn't finish my plate. At one point, I scraped everything off the tortilla hoping that it was just the tortilla that was burnt. But unfortunately, the chorizo and beans were burnt as well. Basically, I force-fed myself because I kept thinking "Maybe it'll be better the more I taste it." And I didn't want to waste the food. The first time I dined here though, I ordered the classic eggs benedict and it was alright. It wasn't bad, but it's not scrumptious either. It was just "okay." Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. But I know there are plenty of other people who enjoy dining here.

Great food servers all work really hard and fast that place runs like a clock.

I love coming here for breakfast. I always get fast and good service and the food is always delicious!

By far thee best food, and the prices are great. Waitress' are so nice and very respectful and responsive. Cooks are very nice and definitely know what they're doing. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed and it feels like you're at home with family.

2022 update: Alicia was on it! Friendliest face in Toledo. Food came out in about five minutes. We love this breakfast date place! Great food. Friendly staff! The veggie omelet was awesome with all FRESH peppers, onions, mushrooms and spinach. Color me impressed! Only complaint - it was very chilly inside.

Sunrise Skillet Restaurant in Toledo, Ohio is like family. Extraordinary service, friendliness, cleanliness and best of all the cooks should be in Hollywood making some real money, 8 figures. No disrespect but real talk. I have Never had food cooked to perfection as the customer's request. When I leave Toledo I will NEVER forget Sunrise.
