Al Smith's Place

Food is good. Service is friendly, except one waitress. We request not to have her as most people do. Save room for dessert! Their pies are great!

Waitress very friendly and pleasant. My food was a huge disappointment. One of kitchen staff had extremely dirty shirt. Lack of basic seasoning in eggs and potatoes dish. Crossiant French toast didn't resemble the picture on the menu. The burger and fries were adequate.

Good food, reasonable prices, and great service. I will gladly support local places like this. If I had to be critical anywhere they hardly butter the toast always have to ask for additional butter.

We were blown away! Vacationing in Toledo and wanted something new/local. Went for breakfast and not only were prices reasonable but portions were HUGE we all walked out with leftovers. "The hot mess" was insane and delicious!

Great food! They're always coming up with something new. The wait staff is amazing. There are so many delicious breakfast selections its hard to choose just one. Also the pie is the bomb

It’s not fancy. But it’s welcoming and clean. Clearly a strong sense of pride in this understated diner. Loved my “Al’s Special” - hot, tasty and yum - the sausage gravy.

The chicken chunks is what I love the most about Al Smiths Place. It tastes better than the other fast food restaurants and also have flavorful sauces. The chunks did not become soggy when I got them for carry out.

Great food at an affordable price with a great waiting staff. Danielle exceeded our expectations as our waitress. She was very friendly and attentive. 12/10 would recommend!

Two words: Tex Burger. Fresh beef patty, lettuce, tomato, BBQ sauce, and the most perfect, thinly fried onion rings I've ever had on top of it. It's my go-to every time at Al's unless the daily special is absolutely irresistible!
