It was a decent place to play but Had dim lights and green stripes on the floor
We go here all the time, it is a good place, they have clean washrooms and changing rooms. They have many courts for batminton. They also provide batminton training for kids. My only complaint is the customer service is not really good, and that's why I gave 4 stars.
The absolute dirtiest floors. I've had my shoes for 6 months and with regular playing they've been so clean, but playing 2 times at sunridge the bottoms were so dirty. You're required to take your shoes off but the floors are clearly not cleaned, theres piles of dust around the courts everywhere
Recently joined the ladies league on Tuesday & Thursdays. Lots of fun whether you are a beginner or experienced player. The facility is nice - lots of courts & the floors are clean and grippy. Everyone I have met seems friendly. And it's fun to watch experienced players do training.
I’ve played in several badminton courts across Calgary, and I would rank Sunridge Badminton Center SBC as number one. The facility stands out not only for its high-quality standard badminton mats, ideal lighting, and comfortable air conditioning, but also for its friendly and professional staff, who are always ready to help and have excellent problem-solving abilities.nI recently hosted a university alumni badminton reunion here, with friends traveling from across North America—from the West Coast to the East Coast of the U.S. Everyone was impressed and commented on how lucky Calgary is to have a badminton center like SBC. It’s truly a top-notch place for both serious and casual games alike. Highly recommended!
