Really fun layout and marked well.nnFun for the kids and challenging enough with some narrow openings or small turns around corners to go after the basket.nnIt is busier than most courses, but still fun because no one pushes you and everyone was polite, even to my 8 year old daughter who isn't the fastest.
Baker Park is a fantastic course. Even with the new David Richardson course, Baker still holds its own. It is a mature course and so is more difficult to lose a disc but still totally possible. Some unique shots/holes and a variety of distances will mean you will use more than just 3 discs out your bag. Oh and there are concrete T-pads.
Great course! One of the best in the city
It’s a nice but busy course, favourite in the city, everyone is always so nice. Usually bystanders stay out of the west side of the park which is the disc golf course although nothing but flying discs keeps them from doing so. Classic
Free disc golf course! 18 holes! One of the best free activities to do in Calgary! A great community exists with this sport. You’ll need to bring your own discs but it’s a beginner course great for trying out the sport. Some holes have multiple tees for different levels of experience and the holes are well made and well marked. You can find the layout of the holes on OpenStreetMap or the Calgary disc golf community site. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for something to do. All ages, all skills. Fun for everyone.
