Sunny side up made our sunday brunch experience a great one. We had ordered the Egg Benedict Mexican and veggies omlette with white bread and fries. And the Pancakes with Blueberries filled in it dripping with Maple Syrup. Tea and a black coffee to go with. The place was a good vibe. The server was very friendly and we got our food in couple of minutes after we ordered which was very hot and fresh. Loved the service, quality and hospitality of the place. Must try the pancakes they were really awesome. Parking: Lots of parking spots outside the diner. Dietary restrictions: You can ask them to do it as per your choice. Like if you don't wanna have egg yolk and only egg white that could be done.
First time trying this place and it was fantastic! I ordered the Polish platter and he ordered the roast beef super sandwich. Plenty of food and very delicious with left overs brought home. We highly recommend this place especially if you love polish food.
This place was amazing, which by the waiting line to the door is a sentiment shared by its customers. Every table was filled with a waiting line during our entire time there. I had the Polish Eggs Benedict and it was by far the best breakfast meal I have ever had. We were a party of six and split up to get seated quickly, which turned out nicely as I got to sit at the counter overlooking the kitchen. The staff are a well trained machine that were amazing to watch and the kitchen was one of the cleanest I've seen. I would highly recommend stopping in if in the area. Kid-friendliness: They had a nice little bookcase of books and things to occupy smaller children.
Do not sit at the counter. The stools are abnormally high and a hazard. When I was getting down in a proper way, the distance between my feet and the floor was greater than expected by almost 12 inches and the stool toppled over and I landed hard on my knee on the tile floor. The management and staff did nothing to help me. A customer came to help and the staff gave me no information on what to do if I needed an xray. I'm hoping after a couple days I am fine but right now I am limping around pretty badly. The food is good though. I probably won't go back though because they were so unconcerned when I hurt myself due to their extremely high stools. I have been in contact with their insurance company and an inspection will probably be made. The stools are not regulation height but much, much too high for anyone less than 6 feet tall. Features: None.
As a local, Sunny Side Up is now my number 1 for Eggs Benedict. Everything was made to order, fresh and hot. Sat at the counter and was able to see the variety of breakfast plates...looking forward to an omelet or egg sandwich next. Awesome job! Support local and dont let the line discourage you...they turn tables fast!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: No
Huevos Rancheros, Blueberry pancake & the classic 2 eggs over easy w home fries, sausage & Polish Rye toast=Amazing!!! I usually put salt, pepper & ketchup on my home fries, but didn't need to... they were beautifully seasoned. A small, solid team pushing out fresh, delicious food! We got there early to beat the rush. I've been there for lunch & the Polish Plate is absolutely delicious. If they offered it at 7:15a.m., I would've had that! Vegetarian options: I had breakfast with a vegetarian & she thoroughly enjoyed. Many options. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Parking: Small parking lot, shared with a convenience store. The restaurant is small. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to get into the restaurant.
So delicious! We’ve found our new go to brunch spot! I had one of the best and freshest side salads I’ve ever seen and the fruit on top of my pancake was so fresh and delicious! There was a bit of a wait for a reason but totally worth it! Kid-friendliness: There’s a very small kids menu but two of our children age 9 ordered off the regular menu and it was a perfect portion - they finished their plates!
I was visiting from out of town and saw the reviews so I took a drive to see it. Very small and cozy set up. The waitress was kinda and brought me my order, which was absolutely delicious. If I am ever back in town, would eat here again.
This is my third time coming to Sunny Side Up for breakfast. If you're looking for somewhere to get either some great Polish and/or American breakfast or lunch in West Springfield, You for suneed to go there at least once. But I can guarantee you'll be back because with their wide variety of food you're going to want to come back to try something else on the menu. I love that the kitchen is open to the dining room, the whole vibe and decor they did is just CUTE One thing I would have to critique on would b pricing, bc if you wanna get eggs and add anything to them veggies, cheese, meat you're going to be charged extra for every single thing you want, which is about .99-1.50$.. other than that there isn't much to complain about and I would for sure go back again and again! Our hotel stopped serving breakfast at 10, and we were in the mood for NOT Dunkin. This little restaurant is a gem. It's totally worth driving over an hour for a true diner style breakfast with a Polish twist. We got an order of perogies to go, and they almost didn't make it out the door see photo for reference. They are the authentic meal-sized ones that are pan-fried, not deep-fried like some of the German and American versions. Two weeks later, we had breakfast here again it was just as busy, friendly, and delicious as the first time.
