I have been here twice and both things the food was great. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. They do sometimes run out of things, that is because they make things fresh. The shrimp and grits is fantastic.
The fried green tomatoes were amazing. The macaroni and cheese was one of the best plates I've ever had. I hope this business is given the chance to flourish...I would for sure give the dinner menu a chance if your in the area!!
Nice new place, food is very good, small menu to start with but they just started... nice decoration and very good location.. definitely recommend to try it. $7 meal why not

Excited about this new Southern/Cajun/Soul spot, and this little gem didn’t disappoint! Macaroni and cheese, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken are awesome. Will be back.
Portions too small for dinner. Pulled pork tasty, menu should have said it was served as sandwich. Corn bread was cold and honey butter smeared on plate. Overall, lefted hungry and looking for somewhere else to eat.
What a wonderful addition to the downtown Armory Square area. Kudos to Katherine Lowe and the staff on this tasty, homey restaurant.
