We love coming here, whether to watch the airshow on Labour Day weekend, watching doggie athletes at the Waterfront Festival, or visiting the splash pad to cool down, this location never disappoints for the whole family.nnLiving a block away, we don't come as frequently as we should, but the views always make me vow to visit more.
Quite beach just beside downtown Toronto Union station. It is free, if you want to have a quite sit out or a quick bite, bring your food or drink and enjoy near lake with wonderful view and ambiance.
The beach is quite small with limited seating. The view is somewhat obstructed by a nearby factory across the water, but there are fountains for kids to enjoy and some rocks to climb.
Sugar Beach Park is a beautiful urban oasis on Toronto’s waterfront. Its signature pink umbrellas and white sand create a relaxing beach vibe, perfect for lounging or enjoying a sunny afternoon. While you can't swim, it's an ideal spot to sit back and take in views of Lake Ontario. The park is well-maintained, with plenty of seating and nearby cafes for a snack or coffee. It's a great escape from the city’s hustle, offering a peaceful and picturesque atmosphere for visitors of all ages. Perfect for a quiet retreat or a scenic walk along the water.
Great to have a beach right in the city in harbourfront. I also live relatively close to here which makes it a great option in addition to HTO beach.
